Good Morning, Wonderful Weekend Eve'sters!

And indeed, we have once again arrived at the termination of yet another work week,
not to mention the end of yet another month.
Another big step taken on our long walk back to Christmas.

How many steps remain?
Well:
Days to the Season: 166
Days to Christmas Day: 208
One week from tomorrow, Folks -- the 200-day Christmas Day Window, freshly cleaned with Windex, will open on a beautiful landscape filled with all things 100.
Sweet!

Even warmer and more humid yesteday. Felt like we were on the cusp of Summer.
Should be about the same today, with still no precip.
We have begun the day at 69 degrees.

When can I come "home" to all of you here at MMC??? I really miss hanging out with everyone! Busy busy and yet another busy day ahead. All good stuff but a little exhausted.

I will TRY to visit later today.

Good morning everyone. It sounds like some shenanigans and tomfoolery went on at the Pines this week, with Carl up to some crazy tricks! I admire his taste in music as I can handle some "I Fall to Pieces," but 200+ times is a bit much.

Enjoyed the newest Merry Podcast during my workout this morning. Jeff did a great job as always (he's an old pro) and MerryCarey has a wonderful voice! I enjoyed her presentation on The Stingiest Man in Town. I would love to see that one! The song played in tribute to CM3 was beautiful.

I hope everyone who is heading on vacation next week has a fun time! And I hope everyone has a great Friday!
 
Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a hot and rainy one here in Central Indy. All of those severe storms that were out west arrived here this morning. It doesn't look like they will be to bad until this evening and tomorrow morning though. We could see up to 3 inches of rain though. So that may cause some problems. I played around yesterday and didn't get everything I needed to get done on the computer so today I plan to stay off of here and facebook for a couple of hours and get it done. Then I may run to the store if it's not raining to hard. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!
 
The longest workday of the year ... the last workday before vacation begins. They may be moving our desks to another part of the floor while I'm gone, so I have to pack things up before I go. (That'll guarantee that they WON'T move while I'm gone, so I'll have to unpack everything when I get back, and pack it again when we actually move.)

Thank you for the compliment! The DVD is available on Amazon. You'll have to make some allowances for the quality of the kinescope, but it's still an amazing show. If you get it, let me know what you think.
 
Hello everyone!
It is going to be hazy, hot and humid again here today with temperatures in the lower 90's. A couple of more days like this and then we are going to drop back down to the 70's next week. Can't wait.
I walked the dogs early before it got too hot and ran a couple of errands already. I started laundry and straightened up the house. I have a few phone calls to make and then I"m going to the butcher. Then back home for more chores. No plans for this afternoon but I'm sure something will come up. It always does.

I hear you...about the longest day. We leave for vacation Monday, but of course my official vacation will start today at 5:00 central time! I have a feeling this day, until then, will drag on and on.

I know we will. We'll be spending time with one of our favorite movie stars (Gloria Jean) and spoiling her rotten! It's a treat to be able to share some good times with someone who has brought us so much silver-screen pleasure.
