My son found an apartment right across the street from his work. He may soon get on full time! PTL!!!

We went to a party at a bouncy house this AM and the kids had a blast. Jude just requested we all go to Michael's, so I am secretly hoping my dream from the other night will come true and Christmas stuff will be out (fat chance but I will neverl ose hope, hehe!)

The scramble to pack for vacation will begin shortly, but I think a hearty lunch will come ahead of that. It's SO hot today, and only one room in the house is A/C-cooled at the moment. But I have to start getting things organized so I'm not frazzled on Monday. It's always exciting when it finally sinks in that, yes, you're really going in a couple days!

With the rest of you, I'm praying that the violent weather will break up very soon and not come back. There's enough to worry about in life without having to look out for tornadoes and hail on top of it.

Went shopping earlier and picked up some impatiens for the yard. I'm going to wait until this evening to plant them, it's so darn hot out. Our Iris flowers are blooming and I just thought I would share a picture. I can't believe how tall they are getting. One good thing about these warmer temperatures are all of the beautiful flowers that bloom!
