Not too much planned for me today. I am going to start a pot of sauce in a little bit and then get some chores done.

My youngest daughter quit her job. Again. I'm really not upset this time though. She loved Haagen Dazs when she first started. But that soon changed when they started giving her 8 and 9 hour shifts on the weekend. There were also days that she had to go there straight after school. Some of these employers expect way too much from these kids. I hope we can find her something else. We want them to work but there has to be a balance. It can't interfere with school and homework. And they still have to be able to have some down time with there friends. So I will be job hunting with her later this afternoon. We may go through the outlets again for applications. And maybe we could do some shopping too. It is a beautiful day to walk around there.

Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well and has a very happy Sunday!!!

Best of luck to her w/ the job hunting!

Hope she's able to find something more suitable for her schedule.

Good morning, MMC~

How are you all?

I am good, still hanging out with my cousins. They leave this afternoon.

We have been having lots of fun! We went on a hike yesterday, had lunch, went on a brewery tour for our favorite local beer, shopped, went out to dinner, etc. I'm exhausted! =]

We're just chatting, having coffee, and watching When Harry Met Sally right now.

Hope you're all staying safe from the storms.

And for those who haven't been feeling well, I hope you're doing much better.

I can only get on via iPad with Tapatalk 2 this morning. MMC won't load on my laptop. And Tapatalk won't load certain things, like the blogs. I hope it's a temporary glitch.

Hi Magpie! We have been having hazy, hot and humid weather the past few days but tomorrow we are expecting a day that will be more like the one you just described. I'm looking forward to a break from the heat!

I agree!! I worked for Steak n Shake when I was in high school and they were the same way. They had me working almost 40 hours a week. Needless to say, I didn't stay there long. I ended up just working Seasonal jobs at Christmas and then the Boy Scout camp during the summer.

I like the seasonal job idea, I would be happy if she was able to find jobs like that!

Just being lazy today, I like to watch the Red Sox on Sunday afternoons, but they are the night game tonight. Rats!!!!

We are now in a Severe thunderstorm watch until 8pm, hopefully it will just stay a watch and not upgrade (or downgrade depending on how you feel cheesy ) to a warning. Then a cool down will happen tomorrow, I've had enough of the 90+ degree days already and it is only June 2. cheesy

arrived safe and sound but late at my sisters place. Had a bit of van trouble when my transmission sprung a leak.Some recommended leak stop fixed that right up and we finally arrived here at 9:30 pm, tired and hot.
Had a shower, a good sleep and good as new this morning.
