I don't care how many times I have seen it...Christmas Vacation still makes me laugh...and the funniest thing is seeing the Dr. Wifey and me try to quote our favorite lines...
Occasionally she does it in a french/spanish accent....
I have no idea why or where it comes from....

It is chilly here this morning. Just opened up the back door and the whole house is cooling off, its only in the lower 50's right now.

It is a chilly morning here but it will be partly sunny today with temperatures in the lower 70's.
I am having a cup of coffee, listening to the news and waiting for the girls to get ready for school. I noticed the ducks are back in the pool this morning.
Today I need to go to the supermarket for a few things. I also need to go clothes shopping for myself. I would like to go by myself because every time the girls come with me they get new clothes and I end up with nothing. Tomorrow morning we will be going to a moving up ceremony for my middle daughter. She is in the same LPN program that my oldest recently graduated from. She just finished the first year and will be moving up to the second level.
Other than that, I just have daily chores.

Continuing on into our count:
Days to the Season: 162
Days to Christmas Day: 204
And it's as plain as the beard on Santa's chin that we are just over half a week off now from
the 200-day Christmas Day Milestone, #9 on our handy-dandy post #1 chart.
Then, of course, a double-100's level count and a speed pick up.
And after that, it really won't be too long until we start a double-digit count to the Season.
WOW!!
Plenty of rain yesterday with still moderate temps.
It may be wet again today, then we are in for a dry spell for a bit.
Right now, we record 66 degrees here.
