Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Yesterday afternoon I had to rush out from work and try to get some work done on my part-time business before the rain came...but I didn't make it. So, I worked in the rain and thunder & lightning. As soon as I finished, the clouds parted, the sky cleared and the birds started chirping. I ain't doing something right!

This evening is the first day of Vacation Bible School at church, and I'm the photographer, once again.

I hope to go out to see Star Trek at least once more before it leaves theaters. Then the Superman movie comes out. I'm looking forward to that, too.

our kids are not even out of school yet for the summer! Our vacation Bible school is August 12 -17 this year. Have fun taking the pictures, we do a slide show on the last day for the parents to watch.

It's going to be hot here in Central Indy with a high in the middle 80's.

Prediction for today is hot enough in Ohio too! I could tell this morning it was going to be a warm one just from the hazy look! Oh boy!! Good thing we got our walk in early this morning!! Enjoy your day!! Stay cool!

I am well. But, it's already sticky outside. Boo! It's partly cloudy, with a high of 79 degrees. Time to draw the shades & get the fans going.

Good morning, friends. It's already hot here in Oklahoma with only more heat headed our way.

it got all the way up to 19c (66f) here today...I think I did feel a bit of humidity there too.

Thanks! Looking for a job is a frustrating process, and I just received one rejection email...so I'm a bit discouraged right now but I'm sure the right one will come along.

I did make the Halloween countdown and I will post a pic! Thanks again for showing me how!

Guys! Our friends from MA are staying with us in July and I just realized - it's QVC Christmas in July weekend! How can I sit on my couch with the a/c cranked and Christmas music playing now??? I don't think they'll think that's a really good time! Oh noooooooooo!

I suggest you tell your guests that you are haveing a Christmas in July party that they are invited to. Tell them to bring a crazy Christmas sweater with them! Then put up a Christmas tree and have fun!

Well, that was a very fast vacation... Was I actually there??? :-? That seemed like one of the most shortest trips that I have ever made, the time flew by so quickly, It's so true that time flys by when your having fun...cheesy

Well, here I am back at the old grind stone, dosen't seem like I missed very much here either, things are a little slow at work right now. I'll be home for about a week then we fly out to San Antonio, Texas for 3 days to see our son graduate from the Air Force bootcamp.

Oh I forgot to mention this before, but while I was in Universal studios, I was approached by someone working there and I was asked if I would spend 60 minutes of my time and watch a pilot TV program (in the AC) and give them my opinion of it and they would pay me $20.00. I said sure... So, I got to watch a pilot TV show of Bear Grylls new show called "Bear Grylls -Ultimate Survivors,"! I thought it was pretty good, it's sort of a mix/ combination of Man vs. Wild and Survivor...It's supposed to come out this Fall on the Discovery Channel (I think)...

Well, I'll tell you, it does feel a little good to be back home just to be able to sleep in my own bed for a change. Don't you just miss your own bed when your away???

I had the same thing, have to look at the pictures to remind myself I realy was in Vermont for a week! LOL
My first night back in my own bed I slept better than I had all week.

Good afternoon,

I had a busy morning today, after dropping the boys off, I did my every other week trip to the Goodwill Shop, it was a pretty weak selection of Christmas merchandise. Got my haircut, and my head feels 7 pounds lighter. Then ran some odds and ends of errands. It is raining so no yard work for me. Now I am relaxing watching "Christmas With The Kranks" I just love this movie.

Got to pick the boys in a little bit.

Yeah, thrift store Christmas selection here is not very strong either right now, I think they are saving it all for the Christmas in July sale they have every year here.

Good evening everyone! Its been a long day but also a good one too. On the way home I picked up pizza and chicken wings so that is what we had for dinner. I guess I will spend some time with the family now before it's time to go do it all again tomorrow! It sure looks good to see 196 days up there!!! After the 4th of July its all downhill from there. To me that always marks the halfway point of summer,and growing up we always planted our pumpkins on the 4th for them to be ready by Oct 31st! It just took a few days before they would sprout up! well goodnight friends!

Im Back!!!... Missed all of You guys.....My apartment was one of the few that have been flloded in my hometown.....Compared to the East and South of Germany...our flood was nothing....still I had to throw away the big wardrobe in the bedroom and four other cupboards....and it seems we got to throw away the big one in the living room as well.......im trying to see it positive....that way i get rid off a lot of junk, too.....

So excited for the holidays!! Especially in Fall mode now, and Christmas In July! Michael's has a few Autumn decorations out, but will have them all out within a month. and if course it'll be great to see Christmas in stores shen it's sweltering outside!! can't wait! Fall & CIJ go hand in hand with their timing!!

We had a great weekend at the lake! Weather was great - warm, not hot. Chilly nights = awesome bonfires.

Saturday a horrible thing happened - I took pictures for the Siren Sounder 5k - I took a great picture of 3 (guy) friends walking together - the fire truck was right behind them since they were the last of the walkers. I got the picture, they were all smiling/laughing & about 5 minutes later, 1 of the 3 guys had a heart attack & died. So horrible! He just lost his wife April 25 to cancer - they have 4 kids, the youngest is going to be a senior in high school. Just too sad!!!

Oh, how awful!
