Good morning!
It is going to be mostly sunny today with a high of 77 degrees.
I need to take the dogs for a walk soon. My youngest has to take a Regents in US History and Government this morning. I will be taking my other daughter to a meeting at a local college. And I must go to the supermarket later. I just did a big food shopping on Saturday but I am running out of so many things already. If I have time later this afternoon I want to go shopping for Fathers Day gifts. So that's my plan for today.

Yes, Folks.
Two weeks from today will see us half way 'round to Christmas once agan.

Behold today's count:
Days to the Season: 154
Days to Christmas Day: 196

And that auspicious Milestone (#10 on our chart) arrives on June 26th, ready or not.
(I'm ready.....I hope.)

Warm and humid yesterday.
Hot and humid predicted for today.
Even hotter and humid predicted for tomorrow, when we are supposed to reach 95 degrees.
(Hey! That's too early. It's not even officially Summer yet!)
We are at 68 degrees here, currently.

Well, it's cool at the 'Pines anyway.
Care for dip in the resort pool?
No telling what kind of unusual coffee blend might be served poolside. Chlorine, maybe?
Nah! Carl wouldn't do that. Who would drink it? Not even Bing..........or WOULD they??

Good evening!
I hope everyone is well and had a great day!
Busy day for me today. My husband and I went to a nursing information session this morning at a local college with my oldest daughter. Tomorrow morning we will be visiting another school. We are trying to gather as much information as we can so she can make a decision regarding the transition from an LPN to RN. My two youngest were in and out today for final exams up at the high school. And the dogs had a groomer appointment this afternoon. I wanted to go to the supermarket but I never made it there. I will have to go tomorrow. But I did manage to get most of my chores done around the house, so that is good. I'm feeling very tired now. I can't believe how hectic our days have been, I'm looking forward to when things start to slow down again!

I remember going through that with my girls, it was fun but a tad stressful too as decisions had to be made. We went to all kinds of open houses and info sessions.

Must get to the coast this weekend to get the cottage ready for our first renters set to arrive at noon June 16 and this time I WILL need a countdown volunteer for Saturday and Sunday mornings.

We miss you and SIT, but do take it easy! We all understand the word "busy," and we know you work so hard. How are the grandkids? Do you have a vacation coming up so you can relax? Take care!

I really miss all of you too!!!

The grandkids are doing well! Thanks for asking!

Wayne and I have a cruise planned this fall. I am not sure what we are thinking by taking a cruise during the fall to warmer climates. After suffering long hot summers here I cannot wait for fall but then we get on a boat and head south! That is what we did last time we cruised. The rates are great at that time so that is one reason why we do it then. Regardless, we are looking forward to it!!!

My son-in-law works for a moving company and often is given nice items during the move. Yesterday he surprised me with 6 Christmas houses from Hawthorne collection! They were still in the package. I have something new to add to my Christmas village this year! That was so sweet of him to think of me!

Our little furry family member is still doing well. Maris has adjusted to home life very well considering she lived on the streets for the first year of her life. She is one happy little girl and we are thrilled to have her!

And you can make a countdown for any event here! They have default pics, or you can upload one from your camera roll. That's what I did.

I have a Halloween background app:

Now that's a pretty cool thing to have!:-D Do you or anyone else know if something like that is avialable for a PC, that you can download and have it at the bottom of your screen? I would love to have say a Halloween and a Christmas countdown clock running~

I wish I did!! If I ever find one, I'll let you know!!

I forgot to mention but I have the movie, Snowglobe, on DVD. I thought my, almost 4 year old, granddaughter might like the scenes when she steps inside the Snowglobe. Well, actually she LOVES the whole entire movie and ask to watch it all the time. I keep 3 Christmas snow globes out all year and she will ask to hold one while she watches the movie.

She was watching the movie one day and asked about the pregnant lady in the movie if that was a baby in her tummy. I told her it is. Then later in the movie she said, "grandma, that lady has a different shirt on". I agreed with her that she does, then she said, "who held the baby when she changed her shirt"? :lol: I guess she thinks the baby just sits under your shirt for 9 months!!! That little girl keeps Wayne and I laughing all the time!!!

our kids are not even out of school yet for the summer! Our vacation Bible school is August 12 -17 this year. Have fun taking the pictures, we do a slide show on the last day for the parents to watch.

We do the slide show, too, with music in the background. You always have to serve spaghetti at least once so you can get the cute pictures of the toddlers with sauce all in their hair. LOL

Happy Pines day everyone. A hot day here in the mountains. We are forecast to hit 88 in town and 84 at our house (difference in elevation). Too hot for me.

Busy here at work as we are reaching the end of the state's fiscal year. I have to get my part of year-end completed before June 26 so we can go on vacation. So looking forward to vacation this year.

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be HOT here today with a high of 91 and a heat index of over 100. Then we are going to have some strong storms overnight. Fun. My sister has no hot water so I have to go look at her water heater to see if I can figure out what's going on. Then it will be back home to sit in front of the A/C for the rest of the afternoon and evening. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!
