Christmas Countdown - 2013

great day at work, not very busy, but busy enough. I was a bit slow so need to refresh myself on codes again. Had a guy try to leave via the emergency exit and set off the alarm.
Going on a picnic tomorrow so I hope it will be dry! Then when I get home have to do a Nemo cake and deliver it after supper.
Now I am just relaxing until picking upmy daughter at 11.

You just described my vacation, too! Seems like a dream already. Glad to hear you had a good time.

We got back home around 7:30 p.m. I'm giddy in the head from the long plane trips and not much sleep or meals during the travel home. We dropped our suitcases and ordered a pizza for delivery. Lots of chores at home tomorrow, then back to work Thursday.

Good evening!
I hope everyone is well and had a great day!
Busy day for me today. My husband and I went to a nursing information session this morning at a local college with my oldest daughter. Tomorrow morning we will be visiting another school. We are trying to gather as much information as we can so she can make a decision regarding the transition from an LPN to RN. My two youngest were in and out today for final exams up at the high school. And the dogs had a groomer appointment this afternoon. I wanted to go to the supermarket but I never made it there. I will have to go tomorrow. But I did manage to get most of my chores done around the house, so that is good. I'm feeling very tired now. I can't believe how hectic our days have been, I'm looking forward to when things start to slow down again!

Oh boy does that ring true with me as well, after driving for 15 hours, I was really dragging while unpacking the van and then putting things away, turning the water back on, turning the ac down, shower, etc... before falling into bed! One word of advice, don't do what I did, go to work the next morning, ugggghhh, I felt like I needed a crane to help get me out of bed yesterday morning; my eyes opened up but my body just did not want to move. lol... That was not a smart move on my part~

I'm hoping that within the next couple of days, I will have some time to download the photos from our vacation to my PC so that I can post a few of them here to share. I got a chance to go to both of the Christmas stores in both Downtown Disney and also Universal Studios; Loved it!!! I thought it was great that Lisa made time for me to got to them and she didn't tell me until we got to them, (knowing just how much I love Christmas...), I took some pretty neat photos inside the stores as well.

I thought that was pretty cool, that I got paid to while at Universal Studios...Lets see, getting paid $20.00 to watch tv for an hour, which paid for a smoked Turkey leg and a large diet coke, that left me with about $5.00+/-; I can live with that!:thumbsup:

And you can make a countdown for any event here! They have default pics, or you can upload one from your camera roll. That's what I did.

I have a Halloween background app:

Now that's a pretty cool thing to have!:-D Do you or anyone else know if something like that is avialable for a PC, that you can download and have it at the bottom of your screen? I would love to have say a Halloween and a Christmas countdown clock running~

:wink:I just signed up for the ornament exchange for this coming Christmas; last year I had exchanged with the Big guy here (totally awesome ornament I must add by the way Jeff...); that was fun!!! I can't wait to see who I get to exchange with this year...cheesy
