Good Morning, Fully Fantastic Friends of Friday.
(Not to mention Weekend Eve!)

And what could be more fantastic than the latest count figures, delivered hot to your door:
Days to the Season: 152
Days to Christmas Day: 194
Down to just 12 days to the half-way point to Christmas.
So close to SINGLE DIGITS to that all-important Milestone.
(And won't things seem to start moving fast once we commence the second half!)

Well, what a difference half a day makes.
It was about as hot, humid and still as we can get it here yesterday morning to afternoon.
But along about 5:30 or so, the wind whipped up, tree limbs fell and so did the temps, by about 25 degrees. A few trees came down, but not where we are. Then the rain.
Wild!
I'm hoping for a better day today as I leave for the coast this afternoon.
Right now, we show 63 degrees on our thermometer.

Have a Fabulous Friday, Folks!
Enjoy the begining of your Weekend this afternoon.

See you here Monday morning.
so glad the count is being delivered hot because it is one chilly morning here!
Hope you have a fantastic weekend!!

Good evening,

I wasn't avoiding MMC because my Bruins lost last night, cheesy I was up until after 1am when Chicago scored to end the game. Then got about 4 hours of sleep, went to work. Then I was able to get some free tickets to a sneak preview of Man Of Steel, I got home showed my wife, found a babysitter and went to the movie.

All I got to say is I thought Man Of Steel was awesome!!! It is long but there is a lot of action.

There is no possible way I can go through all of the posts from today right now I need to get to sleep. I will try to catch up tomorrow.

Good night everyone!

That movie does look good to me. I am glad you gave it a positive review! I might have to see it!

Good Morning MMC!!! It's going to be a hot one here today with a high of 83 this afternoon. Okay that probably doesn't sound to hot to most of you, but I hate it. My big plans for today involve babysitting and that will probably be about it since it's hard to get anything done with my niece's here. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

TGIF everyone! I am just getting into work and glad to be finishing my first full week here. I don't know what we have planned this weekend I know that we have been looking online at some properties we may be interested in. Unlike looking for cars and trucks which I love doing I don't like looking at houses or land so I trust Brandi enough to let her do that. But I can tell you we are not in a rush and we may not even go through with it but all I can here is my dad's voice telling me I am loosing money if I rent/vs buy.lol Well I better go for now just wanted to wish everyone a great Friday morning! talk to everyone later in the day!

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

Vacation Bible School was great, but it sure was hot! Nancy and I were in charge of the outside activities, so they involved a lot of water games, and a zillion water balloons!

I'm planning to work through lunch and leave at 4pm to go with Nancy and the kids to Statesboro. Elizabeth has ballet practice and we have some serious Walmart shopping to do.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Forgot to mention we are going to see Man of steel this weekend for sure...I heard a review on the radio on he way to work and they gave it 4 out of 5 stars!

Don't get me wrong! I don't like the heat in Vegas at all, I meant I can handle it a whole lot better than the heat here in Texas. In reality, I HATE SUMMER! I would enjoy it just a bit better if it just would not get over 85 degrees. Wayne is from Maryland and just could not understand why I dreaded summers, now he gets it. He said it's awful here and is not a fan of summer anymore but, it's home! Lol... If I could pack up my whole family, grandkids, mom and dad, furry kids, I think I would head to Alaska! Yay!!! :D Or just move in with you all and Made would have to follow his "dishwasher" there! Ha ha!

Speaking of the heat here the poor kids wanted to go outside and play. Within 10 minutes they were dripping sweat and said they wanted to go back in. I don't see one kid outside playing today and we live across the street from a playground. This weather is only good for the pool and indoor places. We all have cabin fever! Yep, I only suffer cabin fever during the summer, not winter. Crazy, huh???
Yea, Texas will make you hate summer. I remember felling like a prisoner in our house during the summer in Carrollton. Almost everyone in our neighborhood cut their grass at dusk or at night using their flood lights. I had to wear a business suit at the office and it was just awful to go out. We usually just skipped lunch rather than go out. Thankfully I traveled a lot so I got to escape it some but my poor wife was stuck with the heat. Its doesn't even cool off at night. I remember going to a Rangers game at old Arlington Stadium. The game went extra innings and the scoreboard showed the temp being 96 at 10:00 at night.

My daughter is in the promo video for the hotel she works at. You will see her helping a "customer" at the front desk. (customer is actually the manager)

She did a great job! That's cool that she's in the video.

With Carl's recent foray into the entertainment industry (with his big commercial Made pointed out several weeks ago), I assume he used his big time Hollywood contacts to help her land that role!

Since you're already babysitting, can I drop my kids off at your place tonight? :-D

Wow ... I hope the weather settles down so you can have a good weekend on the coast.

We're rainy and in the 50s again today. The sun is supposed to come out (maybe) this afternoon, but it isn't forecast to get much warmer. Not like June at all---I feel cheated. Someone owes me a few warm, summery days. I know some of you in the hotter areas would be glad to contribute!

Makes you wanna cry, doesn't it? I am jealous of those who can actually enjoy outdoor summer activities in other states. Cooking out can be miserable but we attempt it! Not only at dusk is bad, sometimes at 8 am is horrible. I have tried to take the kids to the park that early and they are dripping from sweat within a few minutes. I have gone to some Rangers games too and not too pleasant. We have Six Flags season passes and usually just skip the summer, go in the spring and fall. It is what it is! Some say we should move but I am not going to leave my family behind so I will just "tolerate" the heat, sorta! :D

Okay, I will stop whining now but I know you lived right here where I am at and understand. =)
