off to go shopping with my mom!
Wow ... I hope the weather settles down so you can have a good weekend on the coast.
We're rainy and in the 50s again today. The sun is supposed to come out (maybe) this afternoon, but it isn't forecast to get much warmer. Not like June at all---I feel cheated. Someone owes me a few warm, summery days. I know some of you in the hotter areas would be glad to contribute!
Oh, pick me!!! I will donate all of our heat to you!
Since you're already babysitting, can I drop my kids off at your place tonight? :-D
Some say we should move but I am not going to leave my family behind so I will just "tolerate" the heat, sorta!![]()
If you can guarantee sunshine, I'll take three days' worth, thank you!

TGIF everyone. After some heavy thunderstorms yesterday afternoon, we are looking at a couple of nice days. The forecast high today is 79 today with a low of 52 tonight. During the summer here is it still cools off at night, our lows are usually in the mid to upper 50s.
Saturday we are making the 3 hour drive down to see my parents for Fathers' day. My brother and I are taking Dad to see a minor league baseball game in Charlotte. My son is also going so we will have 3 generations there. Baseball and family vacations are the only really good things about summer.
Have a blessed day and weekend everyone.

I'd like to donate some humidity...free shipping if you call with the next 90 seconds! Not so fast, CAH...I want to donate some, too!
I don't think we're very far from each other. If you're in the DFW area, we're only about three hours away. Can you imagine living even farther south, in Houston or around that area? I bet it's even worse!
Happy Birthday to your DH!
happy birthday to your husband!
Your house sounds like mine, always busy!
Happy Birthday to your husband, Homemakingirl!

My daughter is in the promo video for the hotel she works at. You will see her helping a "customer" at the front desk. (customer is actually the manager)

Good evening!
It has been raining here off and on all day long. There are some rumbles of thunder right now. I hope it passes soon, Molly is nervous. I cant get her to lay down in bed with me, she is running around the house.
I was busy again today, I had to drive around and get immunization records and transcripts for my daughters college applications. And it is also my husbands birthday today. I had some last minute shopping to do. We had a nice dinner and cake at home tonight but we plan on going out to a restaurant over the weekend to celebrate. My oldest had to work this evening and I really didn't want to go out without her. The girls part time jobs make it tough for us to all be together. Seems like there is always at least one of them working. My youngest is the only one that doesn't have a job at the moment. It has been nice for her and for me. A lot less driving for me. But she has an interview next week so she may be back to work soon.
I hope everyone had a great day!!!
She's a star just like you!!!My daughter is in the promo video for the hotel she works at. You will see her helping a "customer" at the front desk. (customer is actually the manager)

Good luck on house hunting and keep us posted!!!TGIF everyone! I am just getting into work and glad to be finishing my first full week here. I don't know what we have planned this weekend I know that we have been looking online at some properties we may be interested in. Unlike looking for cars and trucks which I love doing I don't like looking at houses or land so I trust Brandi enough to let her do that. But I can tell you we are not in a rush and we may not even go through with it but all I can here is my dad's voice telling me I am loosing money if I rent/vs buy.lol Well I better go for now just wanted to wish everyone a great Friday morning! talk to everyone later in the day!
Yep, DFW area and of course Houston is a lot worse because they are close to the coast with all the humidity. Not so fast, CAH...I want to donate some, too!
