This is Harlowe's new safe place- a secret hideout from loud thunderstorms:

It's in the basement's bathroom, which would actually be the safest place in the house to take shelter. My baby is so smart!

She kept scratching at the closet door when she was nervous, so I grabbed an extra bed of hers & put it in there. She seems to really like it, and it calms her down.

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be another hot one with a high in the mid 80's with high humidity. We may see some rain this evening too. To say that I'm dragging today would be an understatement. I got about an hour and a half of sleep total and with 2 little girls running around all crazy like, that's not good. So hopefully their mother comes to pick them up soon so I can take some benadryl and lay back down. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it's going to start off with washing and detailing my truck. Been a couple of weeks since I washed it, so it's due for a good scrubbin'. Then, I got some major housework to accomplish. I sprayed and fertilized my yard yesterday, so I can't work out there....

Even though the problem still exists, it is a good morning here! I survived the night and even got quite a bit of sleep. Very strange dreams during said sleep and chaotic, maybe even paranoid, thoughts when I was awake, but I do feel surprisingly rested. I am going to spend the day trying to eradicate (safely and with someone else doing the eradication!) my unwanted visitor(s)!

Even though the problem still exists, it is a good morning here! I survived the night and even got quite a bit of sleep. Very strange dreams during said sleep and chaotic, maybe even paranoid, thoughts when I was awake, but I do feel surprisingly rested. I am going to spend the day trying to eradicate (safely and with someone else doing the eradication!) my unwanted visitor(s)!

It is going to be sunny today with a high of 77 degrees.
I have to get moving soon. I have lots of errands to run, including food shopping and some last minute Fathers Day shopping.
Today is my youngest daughters birthday. She is 17 years old. My middle daughter and my youngest are only 11 months apart. So there is one month that they are both the same age, lol. They get a kick out of that every year. Anyway her friends are taking her to the beach for the day and then we will all be going out to dinner later tonight.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day!!!

Good luck in getting rid of the little devil! I know nothing about snakes, but the glue traps sound like a good idea in the meantime. Please keep us posted.

Well my sister is having a garage sale today. Now those packed suitcases make more sense. Luckily, my aunt just stopped by and got the girls. So I'm going to lay down for awhile.

These pictures make me smile. I remember those days very well, except the kid has on pajamas and the dad still has on his shirt and tie. Reminds me of pics of housewives cleaning in pearls and high heels! Those were the days, my friend!
