Good Morning, Dear Friends.

As we have now crested the peak and and begun the downhill slide, is it too early to start becoming sentimental?
Probably.
But perhaps it's because I'm listening to the Hollyridge Strings version of Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas as I type this, I just feel that way today.

Oh, well.
Here's the count:

Days to Christmas Day: 179
Day after tomorrow -- the 2/3 Milestone to the Season will be here.
(Now, I'm really feeling sentimental!)

Still the humidity, punctuated by late afternoon/early evening rains.
It's starting to become a pattern.
I read 70 degrees here at this hour.

I was thinking the same thing.

Do we have any way of checking on him? I am praying for his mom!

So was I. Is he on vacation. I hope things are good with his mom.

I sent him a PM a couple days ago, but got no response. I have a phone number for him, but I hated to call and disturb him if his mom has gotten worse. I'll call next week if we haven't heard from him by then.

Good evening!
I can't believe it's Friday night already. My 16 year old finished her first week of drivers Ed. I told her I would let her drive home today when I picked her up. I thought that maybe I would feel more comfortable driving with her after she had a week of lessons. Well I was wrong. Still not comfortable, lol. I don't know how those driving instructors stay so calm. God bless them.

I feel your pain. Jacob will be 16 in September, but his driving skills with a learner's permit haven't really increased. I can't imagine him driving without one of us in the car!

Anyway, the girls are all out right now and my husband is doing some work in the house. He is still working on the radiant heat in the floors. He's hoping to have it finished up by this weekend. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, then we will actually be able to start looking at flooring samples. That will make me happy.
Well I am getting sleepy. Time for me go lay down and rest while I wait for the girls to get home.

Radiant heat in the floors is very cool! (So to speak) When I was a kid, we lived in a house that had radiant heat in the ceiling (which seems strange, since heat rises, but...). My brother and I shared a room with bunkbeds, and I was on top. It got plenty warm in the top bunk every night!

Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

I have plenty of work to do today. I first have to get the remaining roots out of the ground where we removed a tree from our yard, then I have to cut the grass. Then, I'm told we're cleaning out our closets. I don't remember agreeing to that. Then I have some work to do on my parttime business, then I want to work on the car.

We'll see how far I get.

Hi , Hope you all are having a good weekend! Happy Canada Day to all celebrating it!
We just got back from the shops. On our way home we stopped at McDonalds. We are just relaxing for the rest of the day. I am going to marinade some chicken for tonight's dinner and then I am going to read while baby has a nap......infact I feel like a nap myself.. zzzzzzzzzz

That is very cool! I have never heard of radiant heat in the ceiling and I am not going to mention it to my husband. I wouldn't want to give him any ideas. This project can't end soon enough for me!

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a beautiful day here in central Indy with a high of 74 and just a slight chance of storms later today. Just a few things on my agenda for today. I'm going to go out to my sister's house and visit my niece's and then I want to run by hallmark to see what Jim Shore piece's they have. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning!
It has been lightly raining here all morning but it looks like it has stopped now so I'm going to take the dogs for a quick walk before it gets too warm. My two oldest are getting ready for work right now. My husband already left to be on a job but he will be back later to finish up this radiant heat. I need to go food shopping at some point today. And I need to take my youngest out to the mall to pick up a birthday gift for her friend. I plan on grilling dinner outside tonight so I'm really hoping the rain is moving off, we'll see. That's what I call beautiful. I will be outside for a while today organizing the garage, then I have got to finish the baby's room. I only like about 30 minutes, if that long. I just put it off yesterday. I think I'm going to promise Wifey it gets done today so I will feel guilty if it doesn't.

Well, I need to see what happened here yesterday, so I'm off to read the rest of the boards.
