Christmas Countdown - 2013

I have to wait at least 2 more months to see decorations in the stores....the ones I saw today were just there, because some stores in the citx did sell out plenty of things....and in one store...there were lightchains and napkins and stuff

I just got back from my cousins house. They went to PA last weekend and brought me back some maple flavored smoke sasuage from a small butcher back there that I love!!! I may eat all 4lbs before the weekend is over.

Hi guys and gals!
Just coming by to say hello while my grandson is napping.
Pretty quiet weekend...started out to go to a farmer's market and just like the past few days...sky darkens and down comes the rain.
Soooo, off to the mall for fitness walk and starbucks to put the calories back in...oops!
Anyway, catching up on everyone elses weekends...stay well!

Good afternoon,

Long day at work, it wasn't busy, so it made the day go slowly. I am just happy to have tomorrow off. I have three days off this week because of Independence Day, but I don't have 2 off in a row. I have Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday off, so as Charlie Brown says, "Rats!" Just sitting and relaxing, watching Tommy Boy, such a stupid funny movie, I have always liked this one.

Not much more going on today.

Ugghh; I can't believe this, my left eye was bothering me all day at work yesterday, so I go to one of those walk-in clinics late last night and they tell me that I have pink eye! I have never had that (to my knowledge) in my life... They gave me drops to use and I did; but it kept me up half the night last night. So, this morning when I get up and go look in the mirror, the whole lower part of my face (right under my eye) is all swollen up, my throat is sore and my ears hurts...Looks like I need to make a trip to see my personal doctor this morning to get some antibiotics!

This is a lovely way to start a Friday or any other day that is! :x

Thanks xmas! Update, get this I go to my personal doctor, he's looking at the left side of my face all swollen up and he's reviewing my history when all of a sudden he say's, "Wait a minute, I believe your having an allergic reation to the drops they gave you at Patient First!"

See, I'm allergic to something in the Triple Antibiotic creams and he said one of those ingedients is in the eye drops... He told me to stop taking those eye drops and he gave me a new prescription for a different kind of drops with a different antibiotic in them! Here we are Saturday now, and I look and feel great, my eye isn't as red, the swelling is almost gone and it doesn't itch any longer!

I believe I'm going to call my doctor on Monday and tell him, "He's the man, that was a great call by him...."

My wife is getting ready to head out to the New Kids in the Block concert (or as I have been calling them the Middle-aged Men on the Block...not clever I know but appropriate). Me and the kids are going to play outside and then I have a night of classic movies planned once they go to bed. Have a good evening everyone!

It's pretty crazy, but from what I've heard, it doesn't nearly capture the lunacy of the stage show. Universal plugged it full of musical numbers which aren't bad, but they just don't fit the tone of the show. It's not available in the U.S.---we got a PAL DVD from the U.K.
