Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a beautiful day here in central Indy with a high of 74 and just a slight chance of storms later today. Just a few things on my agenda for today. I'm going to go out to my sister's house and visit my niece's and then I want to run by hallmark to see what Jim Shore piece's they have. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I could go, too!! Have fun!!!

Hi , Hope you all are having a good weekend! Happy Canada Day to all celebrating it!
We just got back from the shops. On our way home we stopped at McDonalds. We are just relaxing for the rest of the day. I am going to marinade some chicken for tonight's dinner and then I am going to read while baby has a nap......infact I feel like a nap myself.. zzzzzzzzzz

Good morning!
It has been lightly raining here all morning but it looks like it has stopped now so I'm going to take the dogs for a quick walk before it gets too warm. My two oldest are getting ready for work right now. My husband already left to be on a job but he will be back later to finish up this radiant heat. I need to go food shopping at some point today. And I need to take my youngest out to the mall to pick up a birthday gift for her friend. I plan on grilling dinner outside tonight so I'm really hoping the rain is moving off, we'll see. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

How are you all this morning?

I am doing pretty well. Glad Harlowe is home!! She still isn't quite herself, seems a bit sad & anxious. But I think her anesthesia has worn off. I gave her a birthday present to cheer her up, so she is trying to bury it right now!

What are your plans for the weekend?

Adrian is going to test "drive" some kayaks in a lake nearby. Hope the rain holds off for him.

I am going to stay close to my baby & make sure she's ok. We'll sneak in a few walks in between the rain, and continue with the presents!

I sent him a PM a couple days ago, but got no response. I have a phone number for him, but I hated to call and disturb him if his mom has gotten worse. I'll call next week if we haven't heard from him by then.

Radiant heat in the floors is very cool! (So to speak) When I was a kid, we lived in a house that had radiant heat in the ceiling (which seems strange, since heat rises, but...). My brother and I shared a room with bunkbeds, and I was on top. It got plenty warm in the top bunk every night!

my brother has that in his kitchen, it is wonderful, especially when you first get in from a cold day outside.

Well I have not been painting as I should, but have been lazy! TCM showed the Rankin-Bass film Mad Monster Party this morning and it made me want Halloween! We have the DVD and my kids live it. It will be fall soon, but first I am excited about Independence Day!

They didn't have any Christmas ones at all!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it!!! They always have Christmas ones. They must be holding them back for the weekend of the ornament premiere!!!!!

I've never been in a kayak. I was always afraid that I would roll over and not be able to right myself or get out of the kayak. I hope he has fun!!!!!

We went out and did some shopping,now I have a cake in the oven.
Have to make a batch of marshmallows to enjoy smores around the campfire. Also have to decide what kind of salad to make, potato, pasta or lettuce?

The clouds are breaking up and sun coming out again and the temperature is climbing fast.

Nope. All they had out where angels. Which is just weird. They always have stuff from every season out. I don't know if they are changing that or what.

I just got back from my cousins house. They went to PA last weekend and brought me back some maple flavored smoke sasuage from a small butcher back there that I love!!! I may eat all 4lbs before the weekend is over.
