Well, four o'clock has come and gone (the time the agency I applied at closes) and I never heard from them. I may be wrong, but assuming I did not get the job. Something will turn up. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes, though. If I hear differently, y'all will know!

You never know, there's still time. Perhaps they were just busy yesterday. Hoping for the best. Hope you and your daughter feel better soon, summer bugs are horrible.

Due to appointments today, I did not have a chance to get on MMC. I will try to catch up tomorrow. A friend of mine had her email hijacked--what a pain in the patootie that is!!! I tried to help her this morning, but then I had to leave for Chico. I left a message for her to let me know> TTYT

Are you feeling any better ? I hope your friend was able to sort her email account out, how terrible.

Ugghh; I can't believe this, my left eye was bothering me all day at work yesterday, so I go to one of those walk-in clinics late last night and they tell me that I have pink eye! I have never had that (to my knowledge) in my life... They gave me drops to use and I did; but it kept me up half the night last night. So, this morning when I get up and go look in the mirror, the whole lower part of my face (right under my eye) is all swollen up, my throat is sore and my ears hurts...Looks like I need to make a trip to see my personal doctor this morning to get some antibiotics!

This is a lovely way to start a Friday or any other day that is! :x

Adrian is in La Crosse for the afternoon, so I asked him to stop by Hobby Lobby to pick up some Scent-Sationals refill bulbs for my wax burners. I also asked him to snap some photos of Fall decorations for me!!

Yes!!!.... Tell Adrian "we Love him for that" (well, not literally: lol...but you know what I mean :wink:..). Thanks SF, for as ill as I feel at the moment, seeing pictures of some Fall items in a store, really does boost my spirits!!! I needed some sort of a pick me up this morning! :-D

Left for work at 7:15, about 10 blocks down the road when it dawns on me, I do not have to be at work until 8:15, and work is only a 5 min drive away!!!

I have started feeling aweful all of the sudden. Ear is hurting, nose is stopped up, can't stop coughing...could it be a dreaded summer cold?

Yea, I'm feeling it too this morning and it started yesterday as well!!!! I hope that it's not a summer cold, they really stink :x... Hope you feel better~

That's ok! Ha-ha, I've done something like that before, but I did it when the office was closed for a scheduled holiday.... I got there and after about an hour or so, I started to look around and wonder that it was weird that everyone was so late that morning! :lol:

Hello! It's Friday ! The weekend is here! Seems like I was only just typing that, my how fast the weeks go by!

It's still raining here. I wanted to collect some pine cones this morning but it's really wet out so I'm not bothering. We don't have any big plans for the weekend. Tonight we will hopefully get round to watching a film we've had for ages. Tomorrow we will just be hanging out at home - I love those kinda days. Sunday I'll be working.

I forgot to mention that I bought some craft bits the other day that were on sale. They will be useful for making christmas cards , we always make our own cards for each other in the house. Anyway I think it might be my first christmas purchase woohoo!!

What's everyone up to for the weekend? I hope you all have a good one!!

Can you please keep Harlowe in your prayers? She has to go in to the vet tomorrow morning, and spend most of the day there. She needs shots, a few tests, and her first teeth cleaning. The anesthesia worries me. And she gets so frightened. So if you could pray for my little pumpkin, and maybe one for me, I'd appreciate it.

Poor little thing...I don't blame her for how she feels, I feel the very same way as well everytime when I got to go see the doctor, It's always something.....

Good morning, everyone! I just saw where I didn't post yesterday, but I was here last night and I typed up a post, guess I just didn't press send. Oh well!

Spent most of the past two days painting the nursery. I've got a little trim work left to do, but I'm hoping to get done with it today. Tomorrow, we are going to look at baby furniture. But today is a trip to the baby doctor!!!!! I'm excited. I've been up since 5:30 and Wifey isn't getting up until 9:00! But the coffee is good and I think it's time for a turkey-sausage biscuit!
