Good morning, everyone! I just saw where I didn't post yesterday, but I was here last night and I typed up a post, guess I just didn't press send. Oh well!

Spent most of the past two days painting the nursery. I've got a little trim work left to do, but I'm hoping to get done with it today. Tomorrow, we are going to look at baby furniture. But today is a trip to the baby doctor!!!!! I'm excited. I've been up since 5:30 and Wifey isn't getting up until 9:00! But the coffee is good and I think it's time for a turkey-sausage biscuit!

Yes!!!.... Tell Adrian "we Love him for that" (well, not literally: lol...but you know what I mean :wink:..). Thanks SF, for as ill as I feel at the moment, seeing pictures of some Fall items in a store, really does boost my spirits!!! I needed some sort of a pick me up this morning! :-D

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! One more day in the upper 80's and then tomorrow we drop down to the high 70's tomorrow. Yay!!!! My A/C needs the break!!! Not much going on here today. Just hanging around inside away from the heat and the lawn mowers that I can already here at the front of my apartment complex. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

I'm beginning to know how you feel who are undergoing remodeling ... they're currently remodeling my office building. The overhead lights aren't working ... don't know why! I'm trying to proofread by a 60W CFL desk lamp; it's been so dark and rainy outside, it's like working by candlelight. (Doesn't bother anyone else---all their work is on a computer screen!) I brought along a battery-operated camp lantern to see if that will help today. We move over to the other end of the building starting July 8th. Hopefully the lights will be working over there. In the meantime, they just tore out the kitchenette and moved the refrigerator and coffee machine into a work area. No microwave, no sink. The new kitchenette is supposed to be finished around July 20th.

Except for the insufficient light, it's not so bad. Because of demolition work, the office will be closed July 5th. cheesy And it should be nice when they're finished. The building is a former clock factory built in the late 1800s, with big windows and exposed brick walls, and they'll be keeping both features.

You and your wife must be so excited preparing for your little miracle to arrive! It reminds me of my own experience with both my boys - it felt like christmas in our house with all the anticipation and preparations in final weeks. A new baby brings such joy

I hate remodelling and all the mess and stress that go along with it! I hope it is all over soon and you can enjoy the benefits. Sounds like the building has alot of history and it's nice that they have kept those features intact. I love old buildings.

It is a little green box over on the right of the screen, just under the big announcement banner (where it mentions MCR-HD will be Kringle radio" and Christmas in July). Hope this helps

It's not showing up on my computer, either. It's usually visible, even though it won't play at work, but I can't see it at all right now.

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

Not much going on around besides work today. I stopped by Bernie's this morning and picked up a pound of coffee and ground it. I'm brewing my second pot right now, and it smells wonderful down the hall!

Our son left for the weekend retreat yesterday afternoon, and we can't even talk to him again till Sunday. Nancy is a little nervous about that, but it'll be good for him, I believe.

Hello! It's Friday ! The weekend is here! Seems like I was only just typing that, my how fast the weeks go by!

It's still raining here. I wanted to collect some pine cones this morning but it's really wet out so I'm not bothering. We don't have any big plans for the weekend. Tonight we will hopefully get round to watching a film we've had for ages. Tomorrow we will just be hanging out at home - I love those kinda days. Sunday I'll be working.

I forgot to mention that I bought some craft bits the other day that were on sale. They will be useful for making christmas cards , we always make our own cards for each other in the house. Anyway I think it might be my first christmas purchase woohoo!!

What's everyone up to for the weekend? I hope you all have a good one!!

Adrian took her this morning, and said she was a "little" nervous but a trooper...

Hopefully, we can pick her up by 4:00.

Our high is 70 degrees, and rain on & off. So nice to open the house up & let some fresh air in!!
