Thanks for the great responses to my post, it is nice to know I am missed when I am not on here for a while. I think another 2 weeks went by, oh well at least it wasn't 2 months. I am ready for this week to end already, so many people are on vacation this week. I didn't get out of work until 10:15 PM, I am supposed to be out by 9:00 PM.
 
Ohhh it's a mini me gal. Congrats Coach! That is super Yabba!
 
Guess ill have some coffee and see if that makes me sleep.

Or course we miss you and the wife!!!! I hope work eases up for you!!! It has to be brutal in that heat!!!!

Mr. had some breakfast and was up and around in the hallway this morning with his I.V.-on-wheels, but his incision is very sore. When I talked to him this morning on the phone, he sounded good, but hadn't been examined yet by the neurosurgeon. I'm anxious to find out whether the shunt system was contaminated by the infection, because if it was, that might mean more surgery and a few weeks in the hospital. I'm going to see him on my way home from work tonight---hoping for good news.

So happy to finally sit down and relax. I got a lot done today. I even had some time this afternoon to do some clothes shopping. I accidently left my Iphone in one of the dressing rooms at the mall. I didn't notice until I got all the way home. I thought for sure it would be gone. One of the workers found it and held on to it for me. I am very lucky. I couldn't stop thanking her. Its wonderful to come across kind people like that with all of the not so nice things that go on today.
Anyway, all of my girls are out. The only thing I don't like about summer vacation is that every night is like a Friday or Saturday night for the girls. I think I'm more tired now that they are teenagers than I was when they were babies. At least my youngest has a ride home later and I don't have to go back out. Drivers Ed is going well for her, she went on a highway today. I honestly can't even imagine. I don't even want to go around the block with her!
My husband is working away on the floors but he should be wrapping it up soon. He didn't even eat dinner yet. I don't where he gets his energy from.

Good Morning! Grey skies but not as cold as yesterday atleast. I am shattered this morning. My little munchkin was awake at 3:30AM and decided he wanted to mess around. This is highly unusual for him. Anyway I have had broken sleep since then and so has hubby......I bet he is going to be tired at work today.

Big week for my American friends! What are you all doing to celebrate July 4th??

Just 12 days short of our next journey marker, the 2/3 Season point.
(And that's mighty close to single digits!)

Still the daily dampness/intermittant rain pattern here in NC.
The weather service sees this continuing at least to Friday, then perhaps a drier spell.
Right now, we show 73.2 degrees on our dandy-handy digital outdoor thermometer.

It's time to have a Terrific Tuesday, keeping our thoughts on the fact that tomorrow is the first 'Pines open house of July and the last one before the Fourth.
(Think fireworks and red, white and blue-frosted twinkies. Not to mention Carl decked out as Uncle Sam!)

I didn't know my husband stopped by! Surprise surprise! (He is more of a slacker than me! :wink:). I was asleep when he was here and I am up before him so he hasn't had a chance to tell me!
 
Good Monring MMC!!!!!! It is going to be another cloudy day with a high of 75. Tomorrow the warm up starts kicking in and it looks like we will be back to the mid 80's by the weekend. I have a few things to do around the house today and then I need to do some work on the computer. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

Good morning Festive Spirit! I didn't get too much sleep last night either, I hope you can get some rest today. I may try to squeeze in a nap later.
I am planning my July 4th barbecue, just finished my menu plan. I need to go food shopping either today or tomorrow. I am having my parents and my brother and his family over. Two of my girls are working, I'm not happy about that. I really miss them when they aren't here for family get togethers!

I think we are having a cookout at my sister's house and then watching the fireworks from her house.
 
Good morning!
The weather here is going to be the same as yesterday, cloudy with showers. The only good thing is that it is supposed to be slightly cooler.
I have to get my youngest up and going soon, she has drivers ed this morning. I'm so happy nobody has to work today, including my husband. I would like to have the girls clean their rooms. It would be a good thing to do since its going to be a rainy day anyway. Their closets are a mess, they really need to go through everything and get rid of some clothes. I need to do some food shopping for July 4th, I may do that later today. Other than that, daily chores.
