It is nice. You can also sit outside, take blankets, lawn chairs, do whatever you want. We usually sit in the back of our Jeep.

Christmas Vacation is on in 10 minutes (11:00 am EST) on VH1! :???::???:

Darn it!!!!! Why didn't I check the tv schedule before I went to the store!!!!!

Happy Birthday to DS!!!!

Today I will study & rest up from a crazy couple of days! The house will be nice and quiet, Adrian Is at his mom and dad's house helping with some things on their property.

Have fun!!!!!

Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

I spoke with mgramsey yesterday afternoon. He asked me to let you all know that they did have a scare with his mother's health, but that she is feeling better and has returned home. He wanted me to thank everyone for the prayers and well-wishes, and he says he should be back on next week.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Thanks for letting us know!!!!!! Keeping them in my prayers.

Despicable Me 2, which is a kids movie and the second movie is Man of Steel, so we won't stay for that one, since that isn't suitable for the kids. It's still way cheaper then the regular movies!

Can I hide in your trunk and sneak in?

We don't have one around here anymore. You have to drive about an hour to another small town.

Jeep? That doesn't have a trunk for me to hide in!!!!!

Well I went to my hobby lobby and they didn't have anything new out since the last time I was there. I was really disappointed. They have 5 aisles sitting there empty!!!! Maybe I should have asked if they needed someone to do their planograms for them. LOL!!!!!

Sure. We always have a blast. You would love it. The kids would love you going with us. I feel like you're already one of the family anyway. When you do come to visit, they'll probably call you Uncle Made!

I too am originally from Maryland, so I feel qualified to chime in on this subject.
If you go by the Mason-Dixon Line (the border between Maryland and Pennsylvania) Maryland is a southern state. During the Civil War it was considered a border state or neutral, however there were mostly southern sympathizers there. I always considered it a northern state myself, but you are right MerryCarey, it is a beautiful state and has lots of history. I remember going to Vermont once and they said I had a southern accent.

In cultures and traditions (e.g., cooking), Maryland can have a Southern flavor. I remember when you could get fried chicken in any local restaurant! Not breaded filets, but REAL fried chicken.

On a different subject, my supervisor looked at me with a very concerned look on her face and asked if I felt alright. I said yes and asked why she asked me that. She said that I looked tired, I said I am tired, I said it is probably just the heat.

I didn't realize I looked that bad that it was noticeable.:-?

Keep cool and rest up. Consider yourself lucky that someone noticed. Where I work, I can feel half-dead, but either it doesn't show or they're too preoccupied to notice.

LOL - sorry. There aren't very many of them left here. They have a hard time keeping them open, because they try to keep the cost cheaper. I am fortunate to have one only about 30 minutes away or so.

We can take our other vehicle - it has a third row and a hitch, so we can still sit in the back of that one!

Mr. is all worn out from the past several days. He had started some auctions on eBay before he went into the hospital, which ended on the 3rd, and spent part of yesterday packing up items to mail. We got them to the post office, and went to have a big early dinner on a gift card he got for his birthday. We watched videos and movies in the evening. So he went back to read and lie down shortly after breakfast this morning. I'm just being quiet and mousy around here so he can get his rest. I have to make sure he's up and alert for his daily infusion a little later. He's still doing fine, but I still worry.
