Christmas Countdown - 2013

Good morning, everyone! How are you all doing? All is well here. Just sitting and relaxing right now.

What are everyone's plans for today? Not too much planned here. DH and the kids are headed up to his parents to get some tables and chairs - we're having DS's 2nd birthday party tomorrow, so we've got to do something's for that today. Other than that, I plan on going to buy my new phone. When I went to do that yesterday, they told me that I needed back-up my old iPhone before I could get my new one. I couldn't even begin to think when the last time I did the last back-up and it takes forever, so I told them I would come back today.

Tonight, we're planning on going to the drive-in. As of right now, it looks like the weather is going to be decent. Hoping that it stays that way!

Well, I am off to read some more of the posts and do some things around the house. I will check back in later. Hope you all enjoy your Saturday. God Bless and keep smiling! :-D

Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

I spoke with mgramsey yesterday afternoon. He asked me to let you all know that they did have a scare with his mother's health, but that she is feeling better and has returned home. He wanted me to thank everyone for the prayers and well-wishes, and he says he should be back on next week.

Another hot one here today, long day at work. Day off tomorrow we will be beating the heat by taking the boys to see Despicable Me 2. The boys love them some minions.

Yes, she did send it to me in January/February, it is a bear playing hockey. It is really great, I am going to cherish it and it will be on the front of my tree.

I am in my car right now waiting for my daughter and her friends. They took a ferry to Fire Island and should be back soon. I had a super busy day. I cleaned the entire house and went food shopping. It was so hot and humid today. My husband went to a Yankee game and he said it was so hot it was almost unbearable. This heat really has me dreaming of Fall, it can't get here soon enough for me. I just arrived home from being out with my mom and her husband, who are in town for a few days, and Kim, too, of course. I thought I should share that we are going to Tinseltown, Ottawa's year-round Christmas store, tomorrow. Way back in March, I was told that 2013 Christmas fashions will be on display and in stock for July... and Christmas in July. I don't know if he has a special date in mind, but I sure hope there are new items tomorrow!

As always, I will take pictures and return for your viewing pleasure as soon as I can. It will be my mom and Bruce's first experience at the store. I'm excited for them. More so my mom as she is also a big Christmas supporter.
