I used to think his paintings were beautiful, but this is starting to deter me...

yesterday Kandice went to the local zoo (it´s quite small, but cute) for two hours....they do a little vacation programme for the kids....yesterdays theme of the day was Indians....they saw how the wolves were fed (it was HORSEMEAT MAMA....but not the horses from the zoo Mama) and went to check out the horses and learned about Indians.........before that....they went to the small Zooschool they have their for elementary schools and the Kindergarden.....anyway....there they handcrafted those things Indians wear on their heads....with a feather....the Kids wre supposed to write their Names on it....paint it....and make up their Indian name and write it down......well.....Kandice ´s came up with the total senseless name of

I asked her why she picked up that name....and she told me, she misspelled it.....she wanted it to be called Nudeltud.........which would mean something like Noodletoot......

I started laughing and said "oh yeah of course......Indians are famous for their noodle dishes" and we both laughed

that is so cute! Glad to hear she is having such a good time this summer!
 
back from the store, had to go and pick up a few things because I got a last minute order for a cake this Saturday.

You guys were having a lot of fun while I was gone!

Have to go and make some supper, but not sure anyone is really hungry right now, so I think I will wait until someone asks.
 
Hey all...stopping by to say hello on a horribly hot and humid day in southeastern Wisconsin. I took my little grandson to the Mall today to play and blow off some steam so his mama could have some quiet time with his 6 week old brother. We had fun and the highlight for my little guy is to have his pumpkin bread at Starbucks with Nana. Today he took my face and pulled me to him with a mouth full of pumpkin bread to give me a big kiss! He makes me smile and feel very loved!
I hope you all are having a wonderful summer day and staying safe if you are in the midst of this heatwave.
