I was to stay and work 12 hours today, but they decided they needed me more tonight and are probably going to have me come in at 7.
EA started a new classroom today. She started Pre-K. My kids are growing up too fast.

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be another hot day here with a high in the upper 80's and high humidty. I can't wait until the real cold front arrives tomorrow!! I actually slept last night so maybe I can get some stuff done today instead of sitting around in groggy haze. My buddy started a new job yesterday working 8 to 5 so I won't be hearing from him as much anymore. That will free up some more time for me. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!
Good Morning everyone hope all is well in everyone's households. Last night was pretty long night poor little girl Harper was sick all night so she just tossed and turned and coughed all night long. So every time she coughed i woke up and checked on her and would try setting her up a little higher on the pillow so it would help a little. Other than that it was a pretty good evening, saw lots of cool Halloween stuff last night,

Have you been to Turner Falls in Davis, Oklahoma? I have been going there for nearly 30 years. Wayne and I spent our honeymoon in a cabin there. They use to decorate the park during Christmas, play Christmas music throughout the park and we use to get a cabin overlooking it all. They quit doing that many years ago and I sure miss it!!! It's only about 2 and half hours from us.

I have to leave work early today and tomorrow to take Elizabeth to ballet practice and play practice. I'm using a couple hours of vacation time each day, but it's ok. I've maxed out on accrued vacation time, so I'm actually not earning anymore until I use some of what I have banked. I plan to burn a week in early August with a trip to my beloved Smoky Mountains, too!
It looks like rain again. We could use a couple dry days, but I hate to complain about the rain. We went so long a couple years ago without any, it's hard to complain now.

Hello CAH. Yes, we've been to Turner Falls. It's a lot of fun. Not sure the last time you've been, but we went last summer and the park hadn't been kept up as good as it had been in years past. It was still fun, though. The Falls Creek Baptist Camp is right around there too. It's always so hot there in the summer!
Of the two areas, Turner Falls and the Wichitas, I prefer the Wichita Mountains. They're strange because they just sort of pop up out of nowhere on the prairie. It is also a buffalo preserve, so herds just roam free around there. They don't mess with you though, but occasionally one will lay down in the road, which makes passing them in a car hard! :lol:
On a side note, Geronimo is buried out there at the old Fort Sill. It's an active military base, but they'll let you on to see his grave, his old jail cell, and the historic frontier army post. Let me know if y'all ever make it up there!
I am headng to Costco here this weekend i bet they wont have ot out yet :--(
Costco is usually one of the earliest to get stuff out. I know from reading a Halloween forum quite a few people have seen it at cocsoc in different states.
