Another day has passed and we are even closer to the real Christmas in July! Hope the supermarket has some turkey breasts for sale or I have to go to back up plan of ham for the festive dinner.

The Duchess has given birth to a baby boy
He is third in line to be King. Yesterday was an auspicious day indeed.
I woke up this morning to beautiful thunderstorms. It has been hot and dry for two and a half weeks which has been unusual for us. I love the unpredictability of weather. It's one of the few things man can not control and it reminds me of the greatness that is out there and how lucky I am to just be living in this beautiful world. There is such beauty in everything, you just need to look, feel and listen.

Morning festive!! we had a little sweepstake at work for the royal babys arrival! none of us guessed the weight! just waiting to find out if any of us guessed the name!
The thunderstorm woke me up this morning, havent heard thunder as loud as that for a while!! loving how fresh the air feels now! been so humid these past couple of weeks! xx
The thunder woke me , at first I wasn't sure what it was lol. The kids soon got up too and we ended up coming down to the living room and watching the rain.
My girls slept through it, so I watched it on my own with a cup of tea lol, love how quiet the house is first thing before everyone gets up!! xx

LOL that was my orniginal plan - a cup of tea on my own before morning mayhem hehehehe.....but the thunder woke them ! Yes it's so nice to have that little alone time isn't it.

Days to the Season: 113
Days to Christmas Day: 155
Now under two weeks away from Milestone # 12, the 100-day Season Window.
Moving right along smartly, we are!
It continued a bit less hot and humid yesterday, this time without the rain.
All in all, not too bad (at least for July).
We have started the day at 75 degrees here.
Have a Terrific Tuesday, fellow 'Pines Anticipators!

Good morning!
It is going to be hazy, hot and humid again today with a chance of thunderstorms. The local news keeps talking about the heatwave finally being over. I don't know, it is still too hot for me and way too uncomfortable outside. I tried to walk the dogs late last night and they started to pant so bad that I took turns carrying them again. People must think I'm crazy, lol. It's not even worth going, I need some cooler temperatures!!
My youngest isn't feeling well. I am going to make a doctor appointment today, not sure whats going on with her. She had an invitation to spend the week at a beach house with one of her girlfriends and the girls family. They left yesterday and she's disappointed that she didn't go. If the doctor says she is well enough and she feels good, I could still send her. I just have to put her on a ferry and they will be there waiting for her. So we'll see what happens.
Anyway, not too much going on for me today. I have a few phone calls to make and I also need to order books for my middle daughters nursing program. I must order them today because she has a summer packet to do and I want her to have a few weeks to pace herself and get the homework done.

we here in Canada are equally excited about the birth of this royal baby. The CN tower lights, our parliament buildings in Ottawa, the lights on Niagara Falls were all turned blue in his honor. He is the talk of the country right now. Looking forward to seeing him for th first time and learning what his name will be.
