Guilty Pleasure Announcement of the Day

I watch Honey Boo Boo....weekly.#blamesugar

LOL This program recently started airing here in the UK!

Happy Birthday to your son!

Thank you!!

Okay, I just have to say that some people are stupid and don't deserve a drivers license. A guy in my sister's housing addition saw my niece's school bus this morning and didn't want to get stuck behind it. So instead, he tried to out turn the bus around a corner and instead of making it, crashed right into the side of the bus. Luckily no kids were on it but my sister said the driver was pretty shook up.

This makes me so angry! I hope he is dealt with accordingly by the police! Bless that poor bus driver and those little kids.

EA and I are headed to the movies here at 10, then we're going to lunch at Applebee's. It will be the last one of the summer kid's special we're able to do, so I want to take her. God Bless and keep smiling!

Sounds like a lovely evening, have fun!

Good morning. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes on the interview yesterday. The interview went good, but it makes what I make now...so I won't be accepting it if offered. I like my job now and the people I work with, so I don't want to leave for the same thing if that makes any sense. I'm appreciative for the opportunity to interview though and know the right thing will come along.

I did visit my wife's new classroom yesterday. She's working hard to put it together and doing a great job. Tomorrow night we might have a date night as my in-laws are taking the kids to Tulsa (about an hour and a half from us) to see some stuff and have a fun day before school starts. So, me and the Mrs. are going to take advantage of it and go out to eat!

Hope you all have a great day.

I am sure the right job will come along when the time is right, keep your faith. Hope you and your wife enjoy your time together!

I am here.. wow I missed this place :(

I have a bit of an update - my dad passed away on June 5th, 2013 :-(

Peacefully with all (most) his kids around his bed. He actually opened his eyes for about 5 minutes--- he started to tear up and smiled at us...he took about 5 -6 breaths and then was gone. I could not believe how peaceful it was.

I miss him terribly as the he was in palliative care the last 3 months and I was there a lot...as much as I could with two small kiddos and a full time job ... oh and a hubby too.

she was my partner in the ornament exchange last year and with everything going on with my dad well I just didn't send it. I found it a few weeks ago and finally mailed it today.. I hope she can forgive me and that I am welcome here again.

Please accept my deepest condolances. I pray for you and your family. Sounds like he was a lucky man to have such a loving family.

Well it is understandable about the ornament exchange. I am sure you will be forgiven afterall we are committed to the tru spirit of christmas here and that includes forgiveness ..........

Glad to have you back on the forums.

Good Morning!!! Yesterday went very well, my son had a great 6th birthday. I have just been trying to read up on the last couple days of posts. I love reading everyone's updates.

Well today we wanted to drive to the seaside but it all depends on the weather. It doesn't look too hopeful. My youngest woke up at 5:30am this morning so I am needing stong coffee this morning!

Anyway it's Friday! I hoep you all have wonderful weekend plans and are off to a good start today! xxxx

Good Morning everyone

Woke up at 4 a.m. this morning because heavy rain was pounding at my window. Luckily I could sleep again. Unfortunately it still pouring down. Guess in the last two days we had a whole months worth of rain. It doesn't look to good.

At least it was cold enough to trink a big mug (my favourite starbucks new york relief mug) full of hot chocolate. That was yummy!

Good luck Track! Sending prayers for you that everything will work out for the best!!

I wasn't home when they came to get Maggie, but my hubbys said Maggie was happy to see them & their little boy was one happy camper! YAY!!!

Glad to hear your headache is gone!!! Hope you are feeling much better!

I started with a sore throat last week & then it moved into my chest! It's still hanging there, but getting better. People keep telling me "My Mom, my sister, my co-worker.... has that!!!" So either something is going around or it's weather/allergies/sinus! Hope you are feeling better today & 100% by vacation!!! Have a great trip! Good luck with preparing for graduation!!!

OOH! Ick! I hope you are not leatting the little papoose listen to that!!!

Safe travels! I hope your day is going better than expected!!

Sending prayers up!
I had a little talk with Maggie - I told her she cold come back to visit me, but she had to ask her Mom/Dad 1st! Ha ha ha! At least if she does come back, we know where she belongs now! Hopefully she will stay home though!!

Hopefully she will listen to your talk! :-)

I said a little prayer for you for wisdom and patience. I hope things turn out for the very best for all of you.

Thank you sooo much!

First off, you will most definitely be in my prayers. It will all work out for you in the end! Try to remain relaxed and stress-free, even if it's difficult! You will know when you make the right choice!

Thank you! I will be graduating with a degree in Business with a focus in marketing and management.

Thank you! I work in a similar profession, therfore I know how interessting it is. I hope you will find a good job after the graduation.

It's not a very good day here today, but checking in on the forum helps. Trying to look forward to the weekend, which is a sales tax holiday in Massachusetts. I think we'll take advantage of that to update our TV set---we're still using a non-digital, non-HD TV, but there are signs that the picture tube may be starting to go.

I'd like to be someplace else with all of you instead of here today. With mugs of cocoa around a large Christmas tree.

Oh, I'm sorry that your day is bad. I hope it will be better soon. I'll send you my favourite mug with cocoa.

There has been some posts about the desire for us to all meet around the Christmas tree, or sit around a fire with hot chocolate. That reminds me, this week I had another dream that there was an MMC convention. That's the second time in a month. They do always seem to come around Pines Day, so I may just need to lay off the drinks Carl mixes. Or, maybe we should just have a convention some day!

I would like to attend a MMC convention as well. That would be a great reason to travel to the united states again!

Going to bed soon today.....we gotta get up mighty early tomorrow....cos we are driving to Europa Park....Europe´s highest rated Amusement Park in Germany....close to Freiburg.....I heart this parc, since I have been there since I was little and it has grown so much since then and changed so much......awesome!!!!!!....Kandice can hardly wait.....and I am just the same!!!! I love parcs...roller coasters....everything about it....I will post pictures of it when I am back

Ohhhh, I love the europa park! Haven't been there in two years! i wish you a funny day. You'll love the silver star and the blue lagoon ( I think that is the name) roller coasters! There is also a new roller coaster made out of wood, unfortunately I haven't been there to ride it.

Me, too! I have books piled all over the place and yes, storage is a big problem. The good thing is that once read, I rarely keep a book. Enjoy your cookbooks!

Well, If I like a book, I'll read it again and keep it. Some of those books are like family to me. There are a couple authors, whose new books I buy without hesitation. I'll enjoy my cookbooks and my family will too (as I'm planing on cooking more often).

yes, they are so cute at that age!

Yes, they are. :-)

had a look on Google maps and wow is that place ever big! There is no way you could see it all in one day, looks like it takes 1/2 a day just to get there from the parking lot! Have fun!

The place is big, but if there aren't too many people you can see the whole parc in a day. Of course there are many reasons to stay longer than a day.

I'm soooo sorry to hear about your fathers passing. You and your family are in my thoughts. I know it is hard to take such a loss, but at least your father died peacefully. That means a lot.

Good Morning everyone and Happy Happy Happy Friday.. SO hope everyone is doing well. Today had to come in to work at 4 am and work till 5 pm due. Had to split with another guy to help cover a shift of 3rd shift guy that had an emergency. Other than that just looking forward to the weekend and playing with the baby.

Good Morning, My Many Merry Milestone Meeters.

Yes, 'tis true.
Even though we have just passed an important marker, we are immediately faced with another, the 3/4 Milestone to the Season.
In fact, it's just five days ahead.
Zoundzerippos!

Days to the Season: 96
Days to Christmas Day: 138

Well, now. The heat and humidity are returning.
(I knew our great-for-August weather could not continue indefinitely.)
We have commenced this fine Weekend Eve morning with a warm 76 degrees, according to our handy-dandy back door thermometer.

Have a Fantastically Fabulous Friday, Friends!
May your Weekend begin at it's high point -- and stay there.

Good evening!
I can't believe how fast this afternoon and evening flew by. I got wrapped up in some financial aid stuff for both of my daughers. My husband came home this afternoon to work on it with me. Next year I will have three in college at the same time. It's crazy. A few of my chores got backed up but I'm finally caught up with everything. My daughter has an early morning doctor appointment so I'm going to try and turn in a little bit earlier than usual. I hope everyone is well :-D

I hope all goes well at her appointment. Hope you have a great day!!

Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

We had a blast rafting down the river yesterday, and today we're off to try some ziplining...well, Jacob and I are, anyway. The girls aren't interested, so they're coming to record the action.

I finally found a Starbucks, so things are clearer now.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

An unusual day here at the office. Everyone else is gone on the annual offsite. I always volunteer to stay behind to cover the phones. Why? It's a two-day event. The afternoon of the first day is devoted to athletic competition, and the evening to beer. The morning of the second day is an all-hands meeting. I'm one of the oldest employees age-wise and never was much of an athlete, and I don't drink beer (and can't tolerate being around those who have had too much of it), so I hold down the fort here. The remodeling is still going on---they're installing a drop-ceiling in the area behind me, so there's periodic drilling and hammering. Otherwise, I'm answering the phone and, unless some proofreading jobs come in by email, keeping myself entertained.

It's dark and rainy outside and there are still no overhead lights in my area, only the 60-watt lamp on my desk in a long, narrow room, so it's dim and almost cozy, except for the overactive air conditioning and the construction noise. They're working in the kitchen area, so there'll be no tea, coffee, or hot chocolate today. I brought my lunch. I hope it stays slow today so I'll have a breather. It's been a busy week.

It is a quiet day here as well. I did a couple offers and otherwise spend my time joking with my work collegues. Other than that I ckecked my favourite authors for new books (luckily some are coming up) and was searching for new authors. I found one "problem" with the ebook reader though. Ebooks are much cheaper then real books and without worrying for storage space I tend to buy way to many books. Do you have the same "problems"?

Tomorrow evening we are able to visit a flat, we might be able to buy. The offer looks very good, according to my cousin, who works in the real estate business. It would also be more or less close to the village we live in now. We'll see how the meeting goes and how the rest goes.

I'm going home early as there really isn't any work to do and I'm having headache.

HMG- Hope your daughter's doctors appointment goes well this morning!!

XmasDreams- We'll air drop you some extra coffee this afternoon to keep you going.

Bradmac- Have fun on the ziplines!!!!! I don't know if I could ever do that.

MerryCarey- Hope it stays slow for you!!!

Festive Spirit- Hope the weather holds out for you!!

Cetacea- Hope you like the flat!!

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be another warm humid day with a high of 82. We did finally get some of the rain last night about 2am. Of course I wasn't quite asleep yet so then it kept me up. So I'm dragging today. Which I don't have a lot to do so I can deal with that. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Hope you get a nice, easy day at work. And I don't blame you about the offsite...the same exact reasons you gave could apply to me in that situation...I would stay and cover phones too.

Hope you have a good Friday and a great weekend.

Yes, I do have that problem! I love ebooks, but its easy to buy one or two here and there, and before I know it, the cost has added up.

Who are your favorite authors? Good luck on the flat tomorrow.

We are just having no luck with the rain. A mile up the street they got almost 2 inches of rain in a torrential down pour a little while ago. We got 4 sprinkles.

Sounds familiar!!!

My first thought was: OH NO!
This is not a show that should be representing the U.S. overseas. No, definitely not!

Agreed 100% UGH! That is not "normal!"

We got the rain while I was on my walk this morning. Thankfully I brought an umbrella & I didn't walk TOO far from home! But of course it started raining at the furthest point from home...I got a mile in, but my feet were wet!! :-? It didn't amount to much rain though! Stay cool!

Good morning MMC! Hope you all have a fun weekend planned. We really have no definate plans other than going to the lake for the weekend. We MIGHT do a bike tour at a neighboring town tomorrow morning. They have 12 - 25 - or 50 mile rides. Might try the 25! We will probably make that decision tomorrow morning - pending what time we get to bed tonight!
Went out to eat at an Italian Restaurant last night that was having a benefit for Boy Scouts. The waiters were all BS leaders - our waiter was a friend of ours. We had a ball with him. We had a table of 9 - 2 of which were his wife & daughter. He was razzed plenty! All tips went to the Boy Scouts. Fun night!
Make it a great day!!!

We are heading out to dinner at church for the Knights of Columbus installation of officers. Not sure when we will return, so have fun, y'all!!!

I hope you enjoyed your dinner, Seawaters!

I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of your father in June. My prayers will be with you and your family!

Good evening,

Another disgruntling day at work, that's all I will say about that.

Vacation is going to be here soon, I am so looking forward to that.

Just watching the Bengals preseason game, the score looks good, but it means as much as a blizzard warning in July, I do have to say I like this team a lot this year.

My friend had her American Idol audition, she is not going to Hollywood, but we may see her on TV when the new season starts. She said she was interviewed on camera so we can look forward to that.

I hope everyone is doing well.

Goodnight, friends.

Blah to work. At least you have vacation to look forward to! I am also going on vacation very soon. I hope you have a safe trip and that it is a lot of fun! I am sorry that your friend didn't make it through, but hopefully we can see her on TV!

Good evening!

I hope that your daughter's doctor appointment goes well! You deserve a relaxing day after how busy you were yesterday.

I'm gonna go back and read all these posts from today...but I just got home from work and it's been a 16 hour day....so I probably won't make it through all of them....but I wanted to point something out....

If you stand on your tippie-toys.....you can see Friday from here.

I love Friday...and here's to hoping that you love yours tomorrow.....

I love Friday! I am sorry that you had such a long day!! Relax and enjoy your Friday!

Good Morning!!! Yesterday went very well, my son had a great 6th birthday. I have just been trying to read up on the last couple days of posts. I love reading everyone's updates.

Don't worry, I can't tolerate people that have had a lot of beer either. Drinking a lot just isn't my thing. Hopefully it brightens up outside and will maybe turn into a nice day weather-wise. Try not to work too hard and take some time to yourself this weekend to relax! It has been a busy week here, too.

It is a quiet day here as well. I did a couple offers and otherwise spend my time joking with my work collegues. I just bought a tablet a few months ago and I have yet to purchase any books. I am afraid that it won't be the same as actually holding the book and become consumed in it. I am an avid reader and I have been since I was a child. I am not sure if I could switch to the e-reading thing! Good luck with the flat and I hope your headache goes away!!

Good morning, Holiday! I do have a fun weekend planned - vacation! I hope you enjoy your time at the lake! The bike tour sounds like a blast. I would NEVER be able to do the 50 mile ride.
