Maggie is doing better. She still gets that honking cough once in a while, that has to do with the trachea. But she also had that hacking cough. It was especially bad during the night and I was worried it might have something to do with her heart. Thankfully she stopped doing that. Her doctor had her on antibiotic so I'm hoping whatever was causing it, is gone!
And Bella is doing alright. The doctor was concerned about the possibility of an infection developing from the surgery, but so far so good. I still get so angry when I think about what happened and I feel so bad for them. She use to be able to jump in to my Aunts lap but she can't even make it up a step now. My Aunt is taking very good care of her. She is still recovering and I'm praying that she will be herself again one day.

Good morning everyone!!! It's been crazy around here lately and I sure missed checking in her. I figure it's going to be crazy for the next two weeks till school starts.

Finally got a diagnosis for DD's belly pains and stuff. After 3 procedures and blood work the Dr says it's IBS. Which is not fun but at least it's not as bad as they originally thought. So we are trying to figure out what some of her trigger foods are so she can try to stay away from them.

Spent all last weekend shopping for school stuff. NC had a tax free weekend on school supplies and clothes, so we went Fri,Sat and Sun. But we got everything.

Well gonna go try and catch up. Have a grand daylaying:

SIL has that and she lives with it just fine, only a few things she cannot eat.
Glad they figured it out quickly.

I am am at the hotel! The flight was delayed and a little bumpy lol. Everything at the airport is outrageously expensive! A teeny tiny bag of chips that normally costs 25 cents is almost $2.75 here! I am a little homesick lol. I have to admit home is my favorite place in the world. I miss my dad, brother, and grandpa. My mom and I really needed this vacation, though.

Tomorrow I cruise!

Good morning!
I am on my third cup of coffee already. I need to walk the dogs and get my day started. My 18 year old woke me up with a phone call at about 1:00 in the morning, she got in to a car accident. She wasn't driving, one of her guy friends was. It wasn't her friends fault, the other car went through a stop sign and t-boned his car. Thankfully no one was hurt. I drove down to where it happened to make sure everyone was alright and to take my daughter home.

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be a warm but decent day here with a high in the mid 80's. I'm getting ready to go play mechanic today. I need to change the oil in my mom's car and then my aunt has a headlight out so I'm going to fix that. Then I have a few errands to run. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

oil change, thanks for the reminder! I have coupon for a free oil change at a local place and have until the 22nd to use it.
I have a tail light out, can you come over and fix it?

So do I!!! This will be the first year that I won't be going in to set up the classroom and get ready for the Halloween bulletin board. I truly miss it but I love retirement even more. I am sure that my health has a lot to do with my attitude. I even dreamed about getting ready for school last night. I dreamed they gave me a kid that had major problems; he was practically a sociopath. It was truly scary. I woke up feeling so sad for him. In the dream, there were men from India trying to sell their kids to the schools! How weird is that?

So glad you are enjoying your retirement! I had the same thing the first year after I stopped driving a school bus, really missed the fun with the kids.

I'm just getting settled in from an all day shopping fest with my honey bee (I'm the honey do....:lol:, I crack myself up!) anyway, we stopped in Yankee Candle and picked up some fall candles (they had all of their Halloween stuff out and I'm going back again with another coupon in hand). We also went to Pier One, Bed Bath and Beyond, Kirklands, Michaels and much, much more... I had a blast!

We also had a nice dinner at the Silver Spring Mining Co and then went out and got an Ice Cream. I'm stuffed and worn out from a long day... I think it's movie time and the couch~

I'm at the point where I don't even say hello when they call me, the first words out of my mouth are "Are you alright?"
Anyway, I have to go food shopping today. I'm happy I made it to my butcher yesterday, so that is off my list. I also need to go to the bank and the pet store. Other than that it will be a typical day, I have laundry and some other chores to do.
It is going to be sunny today with a high of 82 degrees. I wish it were a bit cooler but the humidity is gone, so I shouldn't complain.
