You crack us up, too, XmasTidings!!! I used to have a student who said that all the time. I couldn't help but laugh out loud! I checked out the menu for Silver Springs Mining Co. That stuff sure looks tasty.

I'm just getting settled in from an all day shopping fest with my honey bee (I'm the honey do...., I crack myself up!) anyway, we stopped in Yankee Candle and picked up some fall candles (they had all of their Halloween stuff out and I'm going back again with another coupon in hand). We also went to Pier One, Bed Bath and Beyond, Kirklands, Michaels and much, much more... I had a blast!

We also had a nice dinner at the Silver Spring Mining Co and then went out and got an Ice Cream. I'm stuffed and worn out from a long day... I think it's movie time and the couch~

I keep classics like To Kill a Mockingbird, Something Wicked This Way Comes, etc. I also keep my Christmas books, even the Christmas romance ones, especially those from Regency England. Love that time period!

I usually like the books I read, but I only keep books I absolutely love - there aren't that many of those considering how many books I have actually read. Quite close to a hundred read this year alone. cheesy

I can't remember if I told you or not, but I downloaded both Gone Girl and Before You Go to Sleep. I just finished Winter Chill by Joanne Fluke. Somewhat scary!

...If you are into mystery/thriller then you should check out Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn and Before You Go To Sleep by S.J. Watson.....both amazing! The latter is being made into a movie by Ridley Scott. ( I am also a film lover). I am always happy to meet a fellow book lover.....what are you into?

Good luck house hunting, keeping you in my prayers.

Have a wonderful trip Jennifer! I hope you are fully restored to good health as I know you have been unwell. Stay safe and keeping you all in prayer.

Good on you! I think it is a good idea to start geting things in especially when you find a bargain!

Such an exciting time for you. get lots of sleep and rest you are going to need it !! LOL!

Have a wonderful day. What festival is it? xx

I had nothing to contend with like you did, but I did not sleep either. Maybe it was because I couldn't put down the book I was reading!

It is 12:30 AM and I can't sleep. I wonder what the problem is? The screaming ADULTS running up and down the halls? The flattest pillows that I have ever laid on in my life? Seriously these suckers feel like I am lying on pillow cases with no pillow inside. Maybe the drip drop sound every couple of seconds from a leak we have yet to find? Or it could be the constant buzzing noise? I think it is all of the above lol. Oh wait! Now I am hearing crazed beeping from cars right as I type this! Yet we are in the "peaceful and quiet" area of the hotel. Hmmmmm....!

Oh well. At least it is only one night of suffering.

Hope you all sleep better than me!!!!

Good Morning, Good Morning, Good Friends.

Sunday is here, and with it another count figure.
(The numbers are coming and going like ghosts.)

And the stats this morning are getting scarier and scarier:
Days to the Season: 94
Days to Christmas Day: 136

Why scarier?
Well, because we are now under half a week off from the 3/4 Season Milestone and the start of the last quarter of our journey.
And next month, my Friends......
Yes NEXT month......
Christmas Blossoms 2013 will be launched!
(Better be sure those camera batteries are charged and that you have plenty of disc space!)

Wow!
The humidity is back with a vengence. Just walking around the block with our sheltie leaves you drippy.
And he's a slow sheltie!
We have commenced the 2nd half of our weekend at degrees.

Have a Super Sunday, Everyone!

Update: My computer simply will not access the internet any more. Spent about 2 hours with tech support and all their suggestions came to naught. A technician is to come out on Tuesday with a new modem to see if that corrects the problem.
As such, my daily count posts will likey be delayed at least until then.
Please bear with me!

My daughter works front desk at a major hotel here in town and she has see and heard it all. Her biggest complaint as a worker? Why when people are having problems with anything, do they not call the front desk and give them a chance to fix the problem? They come down in the morning complaining about everything under the sun, most of which could have been remedied had the guest simply asked.
So glad you have the good sense to do that! (call the front desk that is, LOL, just read this again and realised it made no sense)
Where are you off to now? Don't forget the pictures!

lazy day today.....Kandice is playing Nintendo....the cat is cleaning herself and I am chilling on the couch....not sure yet what to do in the evening....prob watch a nice movie

just got called into work, 2 to 7pm. Its ok, because I could really use the extra hours.
It is a gray and sort of warm here today. I made homemade mac and cheese for lunch and now just relaxing before work.
