After your discovery last year - or perhaps the one previous - about there almost not being a space available, I worry too, Crown. Keep us up-to-date!

It was down to the last weekend and another tenant moved out just in time!

i am so frustrated and very hurt! That cake i just made i did not get paid for. This woman is supposed to be a friend and yet i am never invited to birthday events for her, her daughter or our mutual friend. I have known them all for over 10 years now. The only time i get a call is if she needs something. The last 3 cakes i have made for her, 2 have not been paid for and the other only partially paid for. This is part of my income i cannot afford to give these cakes away. I know if i say anything she will somehow come up with a reason why i am the one who is wrong. I know she helped me out when i needed it and really appreciate it, but how long do i “owe” her for that?

Star, maybe the reason you are not invited to those parties is your "friend" takes credit for making the cake and doesn't want you to know. She sounds really awful!

How was your afternoon?

We had a nice time at the Festival In The Pines! Did a lot of browsing, wanted everything, but behaved myself
They had beautiful crafts, wood work, jewelry, birdhouses, art, etc.
And the food!!! Yum!! Did some sampling!!

The heat was crazy, though. I would have liked to stay longer, but it was just too hot & humid.

So, I'm back outside now! Catching up on magazines, on the deck. At least it's much more tolerable now.

I am burning a new scent of wax in my Scentsy pot- Apple Bobbin'. It smells great!! Very Fall like.

Take it how you want to, it's just my opinion, but it sounds like you paid your dues - I wouldn't do anymore cakes for her. Like you said, you can't do it for free!
