Just getting ready to head out to lunch shortly. Nothing special.

I have noticed that even though we have had some really high temperatures this summer, I think that the overall temps have not been too bad. I hope our fall and winter temps will be lower this year--just no rain until Hubby gets the roof on the addition!!!

Has anyone else noticed a milder summer?

I must take a nap pretty soon. We have a luau that we will be attending this evening after Mass. If I don't get my beauty rest, how can I be expected to do the hula? Who wants to go? Hawaiian dress is optional!

Send the Lear! We will go!

Don't worry, Crown! The Blossoms Thread is still waiting to be launched by you! In fact, we're nearing the one-month to launch territory! It was up last year on September 26th! ...not that I am incredibly excited for it or anything? :) :???:

Oh, of course not.
Strictly routine.

Speaking of "A Christmas To Remember", no sign of where it will be yet at Crabtree Valley Mall.
I keep my eyes open for likely open spaces whenever I'm out there.
(I still worry every year there won't be an available one!)

Hello my Christmas friends!, it's been a long few days but we are driving down to Cardiff tomorrow (my mum's first trip out since fracturing her ribs last weekend) I am hoping Costco may have a few hints of Christmas, last month I noticed that they had three or four gift sets out so maybe now there will be a bit more!

Found this solid brass candle holder at a yard sale for only $4. It weighs 5lbs. Imagine it decorated for Christmas with all the cradles lit!

Very beautiful, CS!! Nice find!!

Somewhere in your house there's a hidden space with a pile of 27+ jingle balls in it! Let us know where you find them. I'm curious as to where nearly 30 jingle balls could disappear to. I keep thinking of the Simon's Cat cartoon where Simon digs under the refrigerator to find something that the cat batted under there, and uncovering a whole trove of lost cat toys.

Sounds cute!!

Hope you guys had a nice lunch!

After your discovery last year - or perhaps the one previous - about there almost not being a space available, I worry too, Crown. Keep us up-to-date!

I found one in one of my shoes, a stash under the ice fishing sled I use for storage and a stash behind the recliner. I have to find my yard stick so I can check under the entertainment center and I need help moving the recliners - they are awkward and I don't want to tip one over and not be able to get it back up. She not only bats them around, she throws them, too, so they could be almost anywhere. Then of course, I don't know how many my brother has squashed. He has only confessed to squashing Wilson, but I have my suspicions. cheesy

I'm done with the peaches for today. :???:

I have noticed it also, June was very mild, July was a furnace, and August has been very comfortable, I think almost every night has been in the 50's.
