Good afternoon everyone!

We're four months from Christmas Eve. I may - or may not - be currently listening to Kringle Radio in celebration. I have to do something! Nobody else is in the apartment and all I can think about is Christmas!

In regards to the approaching of our favourite season, I was in Wal-Mart earlier this week and I had to take a peak at the seasonal section. Unfortunately, I did not come across any Christmas stuff, but I did notice that they were removing all of their summer things... and a lot of the fall items were already up, too. I can recall coming across a few things right after Labour Day last year. Hopefully I will have the opportunity to search again soon this year.

With that said, I look forward to celebrating tomorrow's milestone with you all. I will be at the field for much of the day, however, I will do my best to stop in. 3/4 to the Christmas Season already... Magical!

Have a great Saturday, everyone!

Greetings all. I have never been very active on these forums but will try to make an effort to do so going forward. Plenty of changes in my near future which always makes constants like a forum of Christmas lovers even more special :)

Packing up my flat in a rainy London currently ahead of a move to Stockholm, Sweden for a new job. Unless I'm terribly misinformed this should mean plenty of long dark and wintery days ahead for me :)

All the best to you all,

PoloPlayr

Good afternoon everyone!

I hope your weekend has went well thus far. I failed to mention something about yesterday... It was my grandmother's 99th birthday! That's right. My wonderful grandmother turned 99. One year away from reaching the century mark. It's hard to fathom all the change that she has experienced since she was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1914. Of course, I'm more than glad that she is still with us. To be honest, it was real difficult not being there for such an important day. She lives in Sault Ste. Marie with the rest of my family... but I think I will have to head back for her 100th birthday next year.

99 years. What an accomplishment. In commemoration, here's a photo of my grandmother 28 years ago at my camp (cottage). She must have been 71. I was a mere few months old and my brother was 4! I'm so lucky to still have her around.

Happy Birthday to your grandmother!

Good afternoon, MMC!

Gorgeous day today! I got to bed around 3 this morning and was up a few minutes after 7. My day today includes: peaches and more peaches; tomatoes; listening to the Greasy Skillet (Good stuff!); organizing. Top on my to do list is finding Palmer's jingle balls. Out of 28+ there is only one I can find - I have one sad cat right now.

Be MERRY!!!

What kind of job will you have? Your future sounds exciting!

Welcome, Poloplayr!!! Good Luck with the move and hope you enjoy the new job!!!!

Good morning all. Hope everyone has a great day!

Ball coach I enjoyed your story. I've done things like that too. I also have this friend who always sticks his foot in his mouth. I love him like a brother but in our younger days I cringed any time he would talk to girls because it was just so awkward. Now when he talks to women it's not any better. He is a great guy but for some reason he just tenses up around ladies and it is always awkward! :)

Somewhere in your house there's a hidden space with a pile of 27+ jingle balls in it! Let us know where you find them. I'm curious as to where nearly 30 jingle balls could disappear to. I keep thinking of the Simon's Cat cartoon where Simon digs under the refrigerator to find something that the cat batted under there, and uncovering a whole trove of lost cat toys.
