We had as very nice visit this evening with an old friend of Mr.'s. He gave me some good advice that might help to resolve a matter that has been a misery for me for a few years now. I'm going to take his advice and hope for the best.

The weather was SO gorgeous today, and tomorrow is supposed to be the same. Looking forward to some more weekend tomorrow!

Hope you can finally get it all taken care of!!

Well, we celebrate a different Tiny Tim here but we have indeed tiptoed right on to yet another Milestone, today marking the 2/3 point to Christmas Day.

Days to the Season: 80
Days to Christmas Day: 122

And here's a big heads-up.
Our NEXT Milestone will be our FINAL Window to tiptoe through.
It is none other than the 100-day Christmas Day Window, after which BOTH of our counts will be down to double-digits.
WOWZERINOS!

Fantastic day yesterday with cool temps and very low humidity. Felt more like October 1st than August.
Wish it could stay this way right on through to the Season.
Right now, we rest at a crisp 64 degrees.

CAH- I see how it is!!! You get a little free time and decide to hop on here and get caught up instead of coming to do my dishes!!!!! I even had your paycheck waiting on you. I found a penny on the floor of the grocery store this morning and it had your name written all over it!!!

Ha ha!!!

Festive Spirit, I see you add pumpkin to mac and cheese. I never thought of that! That would be a great side dish for Thanksgiving!

Christmasstar, chocolate is the best veggie around. Love that! Ha ha!

Snow-in-Texas and I had a "great" idea to get an early start at the lake for a bike ride yesterday too beat the heat-ha ha! We got there about 7:50 am and took a 40 minute bike ride. It was way too hot already and we were dripping with sweat, along with everyone else who was exercising at the lake. You could hear people as you pass by saying it's way too hot. Yep, we are in Texas! It was 80 degrees and high humidity at 7 am. It was still fun!

We got all our errands done by a little after noon then I was wiped out and we spent the rest of the day laying around watching TV and was asleep around 8:30. I wanted to do so much more yesterday but just wasn't feeling too swift. Regardless, it's still nice to have a day with the hubby and the dogs! They were all up in bed with us. =)

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be hot here today with a high near 90 today. Not much going on today. I think I'm going to go a park this morning to go for a walk and hang out by the creek for a while. Then I'm going to come home and sit in front of the air conditioner. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

and it's gonna be a hot one! they are saying 93 degrees and it's going to be humid! I shouldn't complain....this has been the best August I remember.

Hi everyone! WOW...FOUR months today is CHRISTMAS!!! How EXCITING is that!!!

I'm sorry I cannot get on here more often to post. Its been super busy in both professional and personal life! We had our third grandchild born in April - our first grandson! We now have 3 grandchildren...and being a Grammie is the best thing ever!

Well...the only music I listen to on my mp3 player - is Christmas music. I listen to it as I walk from the train station to work, on my lunch breaks and walking back to the train station. As I walk - I remember how all the shops decorate at Christmas...and I am sooooo excited to see it all in real life again! Veeeeery soon!

I hope everyone is well - and in the Christmasy spirit! Have a merry day!!!
