Christmas Countdown - 2013

Good evening everyone!

I missed all the celebrations this morning. I had our Monday night league finals (semi final and finals) to play. For the third year in the past four, we won our championship. We didn't win last year because we had to default as we were in Chicago for a competitive tournament. It's always fun to win!

Anyway, I am glad I could stop in and celebrate 2/3 to Christmas Day with you all! 122 more days remain! ...and in about a month's time, we can all begin partaking in the launch of the Christmas Blossoms thread. Hooray!

I'm exhausted. I should lay down and possibly get to bed. Before I know it, I am quite sure that it will be 6:30 AM. Have a great night!

I have to run and didn't get a chance to catch up but at least wanted to stop by and say hello!

The kids go back to school today so a change in the schedule for me. I will just have my granddaughter until my grandsons get out of school. I have her signed up with ABCmouse to get a head start on learning. She just started on it last week and doing very well.

EA does the ABCmouse here at home, when she isn't at Pre-K and she loves it. She does very well with it. When DS is another year older, I will get him into as well. I think it's worth the money!

Slept in this morning so I am already behind.
Taking mom for a follow up appointment after her laser surgery for her glaucoma.
Right now I have a headache, payment for sleeping to long! So I am going to take something and then get to work on another cake for this weekend.

I still had a good weekend, as always! I was off yesterday, so we rented movies last night, ate popcorn and candy - like we were at the movies - it was fun!

ok, heard that a local coffee shop is looking for part time workers, so I am going to apply and see is I can get in for 10 to 20 hours a week. If they will work with what I am working now I can finally have full time hours between the 2 jobs. Now to find the energy to do it!

Good Monday morning Christmas pals! Hope everyone had a good weekend! I am trying to catch up on everything I missed here over the weekend, but I'm not sure if I'll manage to read it all!! Our wine tasting went over really well! Wings, Whoppers & Weiners were a hit too! The lake was busy yesterday! Lots of people at the bar to listen to Steve play. It was lots of fun! cheesy Beautiful day!!! Next up...LABOR DAY WEEKEND! Hard to believe!!!! Especially with the high temps we are supposed to have this week - how can it be labor day weekend?!!

Good afternoon, all! How are you and how is your day going? Mine is going well. I'm just relaxing, but soon have to start trying to do some things around the house.

What are your plans for today/tonight? I go back to work tonight and work until Friday morning, but I am off the weekend - I'm looking forward to it! My family has a lot planned for the weekend, so it will be fun!

Well, I am off to read some more of the boards, then try to get some things done. I just need to find some motivation. Talk to you guys later on! God Bless and keep smiling!

I still had a good weekend, as always! I was off yesterday, so we rented movies last night, ate popcorn and candy - like we were at the movies - it was fun!

Our weekend at the lake was great. The weather was perfect. It was nice to see so many boats on the water again. Our lake has had hard times the last couple years - 1st of all- economy, & then it was hit with algae problems a couple years ago. But boat traffic seems to be picking up again. It's nice to see - especially for the businesses around the lake! We were able to put 35 miles on our bicycles! FUN! Your movie night sounds great! Fun for all!! :grin:

Sounds like a fun time! We are going to the lake the weekend of Sept. 13th and we'll be camping there. I can't wait. The kids love it there, so it will be a great weekend!
