.....It looks like it was a wild night at the Pines last night. We'll never be able to sweep up all this glitter!.....

Yeah. It was all in the pool.
I heard a rumor this morning the plumbers were out at the 'Pines cleaning out the drainage system.

(Carl's got a heart of gold but he doesn't always think ahead!)

The first Jingle Cats CD was "Meowy Christmas," the second was "Here Comes Santa Claws." They both have Christmas music rendered in real cat sounds (meows, purrs, etc.). Remember "Jingle Bells" with the barking dogs? They're along those lines, only with cats. They're cute, but I wouldn't listen to them all day! They're still available on Amazon as MP3 downloads.

And---oh, no! I just discovered there was a third album, "Rhythm and Mews," of non-Christmas music. "Dueling Banjos" in meows? Really? I gotta hear the samples when I get home ...

Interesting and fun!! I'll have to check them out on Amazon! Thanks =}

Thanks! Most of our tree's are still green! The maple in our front yard is turning a little - and there's the tree's along the bike path at the lake that had already lost their leaves last weekend. But they must all have been a certain variety that loses their leaves early! What about in WI? Are they changing there yet?

When I went to lunch it was 75º! But now the sun is out & I'm pretty sure it warmed right up!!!! I'm stuck in the AC at work, so I dunno that for sure. Lol

Seems as though the devil is always in the details, and there's always something "they" didn't tell you. It will be a tough decision whether to stick with it or find something else. I'll say a little prayer for you.



I think you can "nominate" as many songs as you like. As I understand it, the top 100 are the recordings with the most votes throughout the year. They get played in a countdown on Merry Christmas Radio, hosted by Jeff, RadioJonD, and JayIsh.

I've been throwing some Christmas music into my listening, but I don't go all-out Christmas until after Halloween---it gives me something to look forward to!

They haven't started to change very much near us, but my family in Sheboygan said they're seeing gorgeous colors already. We have two little trees in our neighborhood that are in the process =]

Just had my exit interview at work. I'm really sad, guys! I'm excited about my new opportunity. But I wasn't mad at this job, I liked everyone, and I'm going to miss it. So I guess right now :-( and :-D both apply to me.

What are you all up to tonight? DH is working and I am too. I actually have to be at work at 10 instead of 11, but will be done at 10:30 instead then. It's a new schedule they're trying every once in awhile. We'll see how it works. Anyway, that means I will have to get up around 8:45 or so, it may be pointless to lay down, but I would still like to!

Tomorrow is Friday! Thank goodness! I can't wait! I am ready for the weekend!

I was at Hallmark the other day, and picked up a Keepsake ornament that I have been wanting for over a year now. It's a 2012, called A Carol By Candlelight. It's of an old country church, and lights up & plays Silent Night. It sounds like it is being played by one of those old-fashioned church organs. Love it. And I got it for 75% off during a sidewalk sale, sweet!

Took a pic of it, and managed to get sleeping beauty, too =)
