Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a hot and humid one here with a high around 90. That whole first frost of the season coming this next week has been thrown out the window and replaced with record breaking heat. Not fun!!!!!! I have some errands to run today that I have been putting off and then it will be back home to rest, relax, and watch the Nascar race tonight. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Got in from the ballgame LATE last night....bus broke down on the way home and we had to scramble to get all of the kids home. What's important is that we did...

So, what are yall doing today?

Let me tell you what I'm doing....going to Hobby Lobby to look at Christmas decorations...then grocery shopping....then we are going to stock up on items that we need before the baby gets here....going to be a great day with a lot of walking (which I hope causes the baby to come today)! I'm so excited....

I'm also excited to get home...I'm running a few days behind (I just got to post and not ready), but I will catch up later....yall have a great day!

Busy day at work, we were behind all day long. It was a nice chilly day here, I don't think it even touched 70 degrees. It felt great to me, but a lot of people were already complaining, that it is too chilly. I am 99.9% positive we are in for the night so I will be popping in from time to time.

I understand your pain. Hubby has had several of those and they don't appear fun, to say the least! Take care and take the meds when you need them. Rest as much as you can! How are the boys?

Good evening friends! I feel somewhat better this late afternoon,I have always dreaded getting kidney stones but hoped I would never get them. Well it seems I may have drank too many soda pops in my day..I just hope I get completely well by Monday I hate to loose another day work.

We don't have much of anything planned this weekend. I think we are going to just hunker down and by lazy all weekend. Just a few more days of summer left! Well I am going to sign off now..time to take another pain medication and go back to bed!

The meringue on some of the pies is over three inches high. A man and his wife were there for the first time, and he kept telling his wife to go look at the pies in the pie fridge. He could not get over the size!

Forget the steak and just get the pie!!!!!!! :lol:

I agree with how you feel. I had one a long time ago because my ex thought I needed and wanted one. NOT!!! It was just too boring to me and the seat, as you have said, is not comfortable. In an earlier post, I said something about needing a tractor seat, LOL!

I definitely feel your pain. But who decides what to get rid of? When we finish with the remodeling, we will make some changes. I have some nice furniture in storage, plus lots of pots and pans that I never even unpacked from the move 17 years ago. It will be like Christmas to have a new kitchen/den and to get more of my things in here!

That's our situation---two households' worth of stuff in a small house. How well you understand!

OMG, are we twins that were separated at birth?

I finally got out about 7:30. Ugh.

Clutter is what happens when you enjoy good books, music, and movies. The libraries have to go somewhere! Knickknacks don't have much of a chance in our house, because our shelves are all used for storage, not decoration.

Okay, maybe we were triplets separated at birth! When I am working on scrapbooking it gets messy looking, although there is a method to my madness. When the remodeling is completed, I will have a dedicated area in the garage with LOTS of space so I don't have to clear it away all the time. We have a wood stove out there, and Hubby insulated the heck out of it when he built it. I am so anxious to get my scrapping space and get lots of stuff done.

On another note, Hubby told me I have to figure out which yarn and crocheting stuff I need out for the winter since we will be putting more stuff in the garage soon and won't be able to go digging around once the work starts in earnest on the house. I will do that some time this weekend.

I posted a quote on my Facebook page that is so appropriate and related to our stopping at Michaels on the way to Redding Thursday afternoon: Going shopping with your husband is like going hunting with the game warden! LOL!

that is what causes my clutter too, mostly books. But when I get into doing cakes, then the clutters is all kinds of stuff to do with decorating. It takes over my kitchen and is not something that can be put away every night, especially when there is more than one cake to do .

Thanks, Festive. We had a great dinner. I had the seafood combination with clam chowder, fried shrimp, two pieces of fish, shrimp scampi, wonderful veggies (squash and zucchini), baked potato, garlic bread, and iced tea. There was no way I could eat it all, so half of it came home! My meal was only $13.99! What a deal!

Hubby and I love cats, so I think he would get a kick out of your cat!

Have you decided which ornament you are going to give to your partner? I still have some "looking" to do. I think I will know the perfect one when I see it, LOL!

It lightened up enough not to get soaked thanks for asking.

Funny you mentioned this. I started on my cross trainer a couple days ago. I have not been on it for ages. I really want to increase my energy levels and tone up. We can be bike buddies, keep each other motivated lol!

Good morning, MMC! It is a little chilly here in the house with the whole house fan on, but that's what works to keep down the use of air conditioning. It is supposed to be hot today, tomorrow and into next week. UGH! Made, I feel your pain regarding temps! I have some sorting to do and need to finish packing up my stuff in the den. Good Morning! Woke up way to early for my liking thanks to a cranky toddler. Lovely morning here which is a surprise as they predicted heavy rain. I feel in the mood for a chrismas movie but I'm holding off till the season starts.

We are watching the new Star Trek movie later. looking forward to it alot!
