Hello all. Monday is down! Not much going on here. The Christmas bug has got me! I ran by target earlier and they were putting out Halloween merchandise, it made me realize Christmas "blossoms" are about to pop up soon! Can't wait!

I know!!! Don't you just love their stuff??? I am sure I will buy a few things and then I always buy a few things at the craft fairs I go to over the fall. I am running out of room, unless I put more nails into the walls, which DH doesn't really want to do, since I don't have anything to replace them with, once the Christmas or winter stuff comes down. Once the basement is done, I will have a lot more room. Can't wait for that.

I need more room too!!! Maybe I can just buy the snowman stuff though and put it out after Christmas as my winter decor.

Yes, I should have - I was wayyy over my caloric intake allowed for the day. Oh well. If I would have went running first, my face would have smacked off of the treadmill! :lol:

You guys would be amazed how easy it is, to make soups in your slow cooker. It doesn't take long at all!

Love my crock pot!!! I'm just not a real big soup person. I'll make several this winter though.

Good Morning, Inside-A-Week-To-Go Friends!

Ah, 'tis true.
Under a week left until our final Milestone Window opens and we are cleared for smooth sailing through double-digit territory right on to the start of Christmas Season 2013 on November 13.
Wow!

Days to the Season: 64
Days to Christmas Day: 106

The warmth and humidity are back but they are not too obtrusive so far. All in all, yesterday was not bad.
Continued warm but bearable for the rest of the week with a nice cool-down promised for the weekend!
Currently, we stand at 70 degrees here in this corner of the Southeast.

my former boss from Subway called today, wants me to come back to work there. I could sure use some extra hours so I think I will take some hours there too. At least it is work I will not have to train for.

Good merry tuesday (almost wrote monday) morning!

Went to costco and took some pictures! Nice Christmas isle they have there so far. Ill post them In the Christmas Blossoms thread! Just drinking my coffee and listening to Christmas music before I have to get ready for work. William is starting JK. I am very nervous, but thats to be expected as being a parent! Next month my friend is coming back down and we are having another Christmas movie marathon! We had one in July and it was awesome. He was the only one that came to it. Nobody else wanted to come because they believe Christmas should be in December only, how sad! I cant wait to buy more Christmas stuff for my desk at work. I wanted to buy some stuff at Costco but the Wife said I have too much already. Too much? TOO MUCH?! How can you have TOO MUCH Christmas stuff? Oh well. William and I had a blast looking at the Christmas stuff. We went to visit Dad on the weekend. It was fun. And speaking of Christmas, William found Dad's Christmas tree in the crawl space. He came up to me and brought me to it. He is going to be a Christmas lover! Heck, maybe when he is older we can get him on the boards! Well off I go, uploading the pictures so check them out! Good evening!
The girls first day of school went well. They all seem to be pretty tired tonight. Its going to take some time before we get use to waking up so early in the mornings again. But it always takes time to get back in to the swing of things. I'm going to turn in soon, I am so tired. I woke up at 3:00 a.m. and couldn't fall back to sleep. I kept looking at the clock every 5 minutes. I'm hoping that doesn't happen again.
We took a ride to Best Buy this afternoon to pick up an iPad for my daughter to use at her nursing program. They are very cool, I would love to have one for myself. And finally, my youngest took her road test today and passed. She is so excited. I now have three teenagers that drive. Eeek!
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful evening.

:lol: It's comical - I've been on deliveries before, during Penguins hockey games, Pirates games, whatever and the dad's we'll have the TV on and try to interrupt what is going on, so they can see that too! A lot of times, the woman gets mad, but rarely, she wants to know too. I remember it being the year of when the Penguins won the Stanley Cup - that was one of the times!

It's a good idea though, but I don't think Dr. Wifey would go for that!!!

Today actually went very quickly at work. I did get the dreaded news that I will be a "HOT" item team leader on Black Friday, for the 3rd year in a row. I hate that job. I have my first training session on Thursday, at least I learn about it 2+ months in advance instead of a week before like the last few years.
Day off tomorrow, I have my physical in the a.m., and then JP has his in the afternoon.

Just listening to the Joy Strings Christmas album before bed, it is something a little different, a nice change though.

Good for William! I think my 3 grandchildren will eventually be here on MMC too! They talk about Christmas 24/7. I could imagine what extended family members think when they hear them talk about Santa and Christmas during the summer. They probably shake their heads and say, "Oh it's that crazy grandma of theirs that they get it from". Ha ha!!! I am proud of my craziness!
