And last, but certainly not least, can we be only FIVE DAYS away from the 100-day Christmas Day Window and a double-double count?

Well, Carl says come to the 'Pines this evening and find out.
(Now what that camel can possibly mean by that escapes me.
But over time, I've learned not to second-guess our ever-resourceful 'Pines activites director.)

More warm and humid each day, but only to a point, the weather service says.
By the weekend, we are predicted to get a nice early touch of Fall.
Our thermometer tells us it is 70 degrees here in the capital city at this hour.

I am still out sick with kidney stones but I am feeling better.I may try work tomorrow...But I was just in bed watching tv and cat napping when I saw my first Christmas commercial!!! It was the Kmaart Layaway commercial with the gingerbread man! That alone makes me feel so much better.Has anyone else seen a commercial yet...? Up until now I have not even seen any fall/Halloween commercials. What a great way to start the day...now if I could just pass these stones!!! Have a great day everyone!

That was a lovely surprise seeing that ad! I have not seen any yet but this morning I noticed a Christmas Bakery Section on the supermarket website where I shop!

OKay guys not an hour has passed and I saw my first Halloween commercial its the "party City" commercial whith Micheal Jackson's thriller playing in the back ground. So I will have to remember I saw my first Holiday Commercials for fall and Christmas on 9/11...now I just realized it's sept11th! 12years seems so long but I still feel like it's yesterday! I know what you mean I have re started on my cross trainer last week after not being on it for a few months. It really tires you out at first but hang in there it will get easier. Soon the effects will be the opposite and we will be bursting with energy!

It's wonderful Wednesday, we are halfway through the week again!

Great news, DH was able to replace the screen to my Digi Camera and it is working fantastic now! Love him so much , he never fails me!

I am doing my weekly online shop and I just noticed that they added another christmas section - Christmas Bakery. There are already some lovely festive goodies on there. It made my day! Wow guys , it really is beginning to look alot like christmas!

I have decided to repaint our living room. It needed touching up (kids!) so I am going to change the colour and get new wallpaper for the chimney breast. It won't be too much of a big job as the room is small. Anyway I want to get it done before Halloween.

Ok well I'm off to get a few things done but I will be in and out of here through out the day as usual You all make great company, thank you!

not feeling good this morning . I have to go to work at 10 am but not sure at this point I would make it standing there all day. But I cannot afford to take a whole day off. Why can I not get sick on a day I only have 4 hours.
Maybe in an hour or so I will feel better.
Going to be supper hot again today and humid again. It is already 22c (71f) feeling like 31c (87f) and the sun is not even up yet.

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be another hot one here today with a high of 95. If we do get that hot, it will be another record. Boo!!!! Tomorrow starts the cool down though so I think I can make it. My boring life continues today. Just doing some laundry and stuff around the apartment. Basically, just trying to stay cool!!! I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Got up a couple of hours ago, made coffee and as soon as it was made the electricity went out! The whole neighborhood went out and finally got up and running about an hour ago.

The temps are finally dropping, around 94 degrees for the high today and I am actually a little happier about that. It will be right at 90 for the high this weekend. Maybe this is a sign that our triple digits are finally coming to an end!

Just wanted to stop by and say hi! Have a Merry Day!
