Christmasstar! Sorry that I just now saw your post. I hope you get to feeling better soon! ((hugs))
I wanted to get some fall decorations out but started feeling a little crummy. Wasn't feeling too swift yesterday either. I told my granddaughter we can do it another day. She said, "I will put them out for you grandma". So very sweet of her so I got one box out and told her to go for it. It's really cute how the stuff is just scattered around the house but it's special to me, even if it is not organized. It came from her heart to make the house look pretty! After she put all that out she asked again, "grandma, can we go ahead and get the Christmas Tree and ornaments out"? Then followed up with, "I will do it all by myself if you are not feeling well". Aww! Just love her! I am not sure how she will tackle a 7 ft. tree!![]()

Hope you all make it to the shop and I look forward to the photos! I can't believe the blossoms thread is only a couple weeks away!
Kim woke up with enough time... she even yelled at my for not waking her up earlier! I don't like waking people up. If they want to sleep in, I always let them sleep in.Hope she wakes up soon so you guys can go!!!!!
It has been a great day. I'd rather be working, but it was a good visit and I've done some laundry since.I hope you are able to go. Sounds like a great day!!!
That is too bad, Star! Hopefully you can make it back and pay Tinseltown a visit next summer. It's a wonderful place and the owner loves to talk Christmas! We finally made it to Ottawa this past summer, but I had problems with a leaking transmission so by the time that was fixed we had to get back on the road again to my sisters place. We did get to see the Parliament buildings. We are planning a trip there next summer and will be staying for about a week this time.
Thanks, Crown. There must be another opening somewhere! It's certainly strange that there isn't an opening in Crabtree though. Call the mall and demand that they open a spot. This is a Christmas tradition!Brings up a point, Brent.
"A Christmas To Remember" is a chain. Perhaps another member can get an early shot in their area which we could use.
How about it, Guys? Anyone see one up or getting prepared in your part of MMC land?
In my opinion, candy corn is the fruitcake of Halloween.
You either love it or you hate it.

Good evening. I'm going to try and catch up here tomorrow. I have a headache and need to turn in. Hope everyone has a good night!

so frustrating when a cake does not turn out right! This humidity is not good for icing. If I did not have at work at the store tomorrow I would do it all over again, but do not have the time. Someone is getting a free cake (my policy if it is a mess)
good night everyone! I have been under the weather the last week and I am tryin to live again!!! I missed everyone here but have been thinking about yall a lot.! Halloween and Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner. I am going to try to go back to work in the morning wish me luck everyone!
not feeling good this morning . I have to go to work at 10 am but not sure at this point I would make it standing there all day. But I cannot afford to take a whole day off. Why can I not get sick on a day I only have 4 hours.
Maybe in an hour or so I will feel better.
Going to be supper hot again today and humid again. It is already 22c (71f) feeling like 31c (87f) and the sun is not even up yet.
I say we take a holiday.....create one.....everybody stay home, sleep late, and get up and drink coffee....
Got up a couple of hours ago, made coffee and as soon as it was made the electricity went out! The whole neighborhood went out and finally got up and running about an hour ago.
The temps are finally dropping, around 94 degrees for the high today and I am actually a little happier about that. It will be right at 90 for the high this weekend. Maybe this is a sign that our triple digits are finally coming to an end!
Just wanted to stop by and say hi! Have a Merry Day!
I must sound like the most whiny person ever.....but this cold is just horrible.....after two days of a running nose,
I started coughing yesterday....so bsd I had to go see the doc today....and of course it is a
Bronchitis......not cool and totally annoying....Now I just hope Kandice doesn t catch it from me.....
she was not in school today because of a bad headache...so far it looks like all is fine.an she can get back to school 2morrow
Hi guys, haven't stopped by in too long. Jude started kindergarten last week and we arejust getting into a groove. He loves it, we miss him! It's a very short day but still.. it's weird without him!
We are almost all decorated for fall. Awaiting this heat to get the heck out of here is all!
Also, I visited Tinseltown today. There were only a few new items on display. I talked with the owner and mentioned that I belong to a Christmas forum. He seemed quite excited and wanted to discuss. Needless to say, I gave him the address and said it was a wonderful place. Somehow, he had no idea such a thing existed! He's a great guy though, so I hope he gives us a visit!
I managed to snap few pictures. As I said, I'll hold off on them for a couple weeks. Until then, I'll keep an eye out for immediate contributions for my favourite thread of the year!
Ominous sign!
Walked all around Crabtree yesterday and there was not one single empty space!
<< Say it ain't so Crown! >>
'Fraid so.
But not to worry.
The thread WILL debut on schedule. If "A Christmas To Remember" does not show up, I know I can get a good "opening shot" at Hallmark.
Their Christmas merchandise is always out by then.
Yeah! Let's all bring cookies and Christmas music, too!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!
I went with my mom a moment ago to see her cardiologist (he's also my cardiologist), and she got a great report. Yay!
Today at noon, I'm attending a 9/11 Memorial Luncheon as mayor, along with the mayors of the other cities in Evans County. I'm not sure if I have to speak, though. If I do, I hope I don't lock-up and say something stupid. :?
This afternoon we're taking the kids to their guitar and dance lessons, then the weekly Wal-Mart trip. I plan to force...*ahem* I mean ask...Nancy to buy me Star Trek: Into Darkness Blue-Ray/DVD Combo-Pak with Deleted Scenes, Alternate Endings and Director Commentary. It's important to get the right one.
I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy
