Glad y'all had a good weekend. Next time we are in Dallas we have talked about going to the JFK museum. I've e wanted to go for a while.
Good evening,
We were busy again today, apple picking was fun, a few weeks from now we will head to the pumpkin patch. I have to get to work early, like usual, so my visit is yet again brief.
I hope you all had a great Sunday.
Good night all.
I have two nice afghans here that my MIL no longer has space for. They're freshly laundered, but they're used and show a little wear. I don't have space for them either, but I hate to think of tossing them out. (That's sunshine, not a stain, on the green one.)

Good morning MmC.....still in bed cuddling with my cat and Kandice is snoring besides me......when she is up I willl xall the pediatrition so he check her u, too....plus her asthma spray is almost empty so.we need new ones....on our way back we go by her friend Jann to pickup her homework
Most of last week the weather was very fall like. But late summer came back for a visit on Friday and Saturday. I spent a great time on saturday with one of my best friends. We aren't able to see each other very often. She is only 25 years old but has to take care of the house and her parents. Her mother has a chronical sickness and her father had a work accident two years ago and can't work anymore. She has very little time for herself and I try to help her whenever I can.
We went to the flea market and I found a necklace for my mother. Just like that I have my first christmas gift.
I have not been on here all weekend. Wayne was off on Friday so we finally had 2 straight days to spend together and had a lot of fun! It has been awhile we usually just get Saturday.
Friday we took the bikes out to the lake and made the trip all the way around, almost 10 miles. We parked the bikes and rented a kayak for an hour. I had a cooler packed with lunch and we ate it while floating in the middle of the lake. We ran all our errands them came home to relax.
Saturday we spent the first part of the day in Downtown Dallas to a museum at the Old Red Courthouse building then went to the JFK Dealey Plaza area. We didn't go to the museum, already been there a couple of times, just walked around. I take that area for granted since I grew up here and have had to go down that road to get places many times but when I stop and visit and really think about it it's very surreal to think of what took place. We are coming up on the 50th anniversary of the assassination. The day Kennedy was killed my dad was working in Downtown Dallas less than one mile away from the shooting. He was caught up in all the commotion. The tourist flood that place and you hear languages from all over the world. It's cool to hear that!
We had lunch in Downtown Dallas, headed home and kicked back for some TV then went to the movies. I am not much into going to the movies these days and it's the first time we went to the movies 6 years. I hate the way prices have increased but we went for twilight time and had a coupon for a bucket of popcorn so we managed to keep the price below 20 bucks!
With a full weekend going on we have fell asleep around 8:30 pm the past few nights! We had a great weekend and Monday is here for the start of a fantastic week!
I know a few of you already heard about our weekend from Wayne. =)
I hope you all are doing great! Be Merry my Friends!![]()
Good morning folks. Happy milestone day! I have several older editions of the Merry Podcast loaded up to listen to this week to celebrate the 100 days milestone and the official coming of fall this next weekend.
They are adorable! Really! And the colours are so Christmassy too. Lucky you to snuggle yourself in them during long and cold winter evenings.

Cooler yesterday with low humidity.
Nice!
More of the same today, I hope.
We show 69 degrees here, currently, with a light rain falling.
Have a Marvelous Monday, Folks.
Keep your eye on the sparrow and your thoughts on the Season!
Merry Monday! 100 days till christmas! I think we need to celebrate!
How was everyone's weekend? On Saturday, we visited the shops and they were really starting to prepare for christmas. I bought the children's Advent calenders ready for December! I also bought two Halloween decorations. One is a pumpkin and the other is a ghost. I will post a photo when I can ! I was so pleased to find them, it made my day!
Long day yesterday working so I am just catching up with things at home today. Torrential rain this morning!! I was so lucky that it stopped in time for me to walk my son to school. It is pouring again now.
I have fallen behind on weekend posts as usual so I hope you are all well.
Happy 100 days till christmas!!! It makes me giddy that the start of the season is so close!
We are moving right along, Crown! :???:

Good MILESTONE morning everyone!
It's a chilly morning in Ottawa. Temperature is currently sitting at 6C/45F but feels like 4C/39F. Brrr! We arrived home yesterday from Rochester at about 6PM. The tournament went well and we're heading to Boston for Regionals for the final weekend of September. Good stuff!
Not a whole lot to say, really. I had to record the Packers game from yesterday. My brother and dad were in attendance at Lambeau Field, so it is certainly a must watch for me. I already know the score and stats, but I am sure that I will enjoy it anyway. I think I should get to that now.... Otherwise, Kim and I have some apartment hunting to do. We could be moving for the first time in more than three years. Hopefully we can find something for November. Yep. Just in time for Christmas decorating!
Have a great Monday, everyone! The work week has arrived, but be sure to take in the high of the 100 Days to Christmas Milestone! Double digits arrive tomorrow and we'll be closing in on the Christmas Season in no time... not to mention seeing Christmas Blossom right before our very eyes!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!
Wow, it was another HOT weekend. Jacob and I spent the whole weekend hunting in the sun, but we had a great time together. I have a serious farmer's tan going on right now.
I did work a few hours on the Camaro Saturday afternoon. The white car (the one we decided to make THE car) didn't come with factory air conditioning, so we're having to modify the firewall to accept all the ventilation needs. If it weren't for having to do that before we put the engine in, we could be running in a week or so!
I wanted to work on it some more today, but I have to take Elizabeth to ballet practice this afternoon. Maybe Tuesday.
I hope y'all have a great day!
Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a dreary day here with a high in the low 70's. I'll take it!!! I have some stuff to get done this morning but I'll be back later to get caught up. I justed to hop on and tell everyone Happy Milestone day!!!!! I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you! I don't have enough space to keep them, so I'll be donating them to the Salvation Army, if they'll have them. But I have other afghans to snuggle in. And I enjoy working on afghans in the wintertime. When it's long enough, the bottom part keeps me snuggly while I'm working on the top!
Since I'm left-handed, I think that would be brilliant!!:-DI wish I would be able to do needlework. I've got two left hands (in Switzerland we say this to explain if someone is clumsy).
