Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

Wow, it was another HOT weekend. Jacob and I spent the whole weekend hunting in the sun, but we had a great time together. I have a serious farmer's tan going on right now.

I did work a few hours on the Camaro Saturday afternoon. The white car (the one we decided to make THE car) didn't come with factory air conditioning, so we're having to modify the firewall to accept all the ventilation needs. If it weren't for having to do that before we put the engine in, we could be running in a week or so!

I wanted to work on it some more today, but I have to take Elizabeth to ballet practice this afternoon. Maybe Tuesday.

I used to shake some of the smaller apple trees when I was a kid! So much fun. I adore the smell of being in an apple orchard!

I haven't done apple picking for years now but oh boy, I remember how much I use to love it when I was little. ^^ My godparents had a huge harden with many apple trees there and I liked shaking them, haha. It wasn't very fair apple picking but I use to be so into picking more apples than everybody else so I simply use to shake the whole apple tree for apples just to drop on the ground.

They are adorable! Really! And the colours are so Christmassy too. Lucky you to snuggle yourself in them during long and cold winter evenings.



I honestly feel sorry for Kandice of having asthma. I have it by myself, and I use to use a lot of inhalators and other medicine when I was little. I found it very annoying and monotonous but I am very thankful to my mum that she once came across some alternatives to cure the disease and I don't need to use any medicine now. I hope that Kandice will be able to get rid of asthma too.

HAPPY 100 DAYS TO GO PALS!!!!!! Wow, I am getting nervous... need to finish my SHOPPING!! And get to testing some cookie recipes (tough work, huh??)

Cool and rainy today.. perfect day to just kick back and watch some Chrsitmas movies with the kids thsi afternoon. Missing my Jude while he's at school this AM... only an hour and a half to go until he's home!

Hey! I saw Christmas tissues at the grocery store today!! Noel was squealing, "Yay! It's Christmas time!" It was so cute!!

Evening everyone,

I hope you all are having a good start to the week! I just put dinner in the oven so I'm having a cup of tea before I start the children's evening routine. It has been raining all day. This wet , cold dismal weather has put me in the mood for some red wine and a an old movie once Mr. Festive gets in later. I think we will watch House on Haunted Hill and perhaps Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.

It'll be difficult. My left is usually more tan than my right. That comes from riding with my left arm out the truck window. :wink:

Nice pictures. Love the mini John Wayne statue. Several years ago I had the opportunity to speak with a guy that had traveled with the Duke. He noticed that Wayne paid for everything with a check. When he asked Wayne why he always used checks, Wayne explained "cause no one ever cashes them."
