I noticed but thought maybe she went to work. I hope Harlowe is okay!

Hmm, where is Snowflake? She hasn't been on at all today.

Hope you the book!!!!!

Overall, I'd give it ***1/2 out of 5 stars. I studied Dante's Inferno in college so I had high hopes for the book. Finished it earlier today and I will admit I liked the parts with the symbols and the settings in Florence and Venice. Loved the art references. Thought it rather cool that a copy of one of the books referenced in the novel is sitting on a shelf in my home. However, I did not like what all the clues eventually led to - a bit too scary when you think about what he wrote and how he prefaced it all with the science is real.

Hiya mmc friends
Am back again

Life has just been so busy, annoying.stressful LOL but i live to fight another day and mmc was always on my mind. scooby has a touch of acid reflux and inflammation so hes on a special diet food for it but gonna take a while . so hard not to be able to give him treats..

Welcome back, Shellie! I've been praying for Scooby! I'm happy about my exchange partner, too!! Hope you've had a lovely day! MERRY dreams!

Hello! I hope your doggy will feel better soon. I know how it feels. I have a puppy too and whenever he's unwell, it hurts me too.

And I've been asking myself the same thing about this year passing by. ^^

I am now in my home country for a week. It's a very short time but my academic year starts very soon. And I have noticed that I start missing Scotland after few days of being in Lithuania so I think it's a good thing for me to come back to Lithuania for two weeks the most. ^^

I have found lovely Holiday jumper
while tidying my closet earlier today. I was very surprised because I had forgotten for a while that I have it, heh. (I posted a picture of it in the album just in case someone would like to take a look.)

I hope everyone is having a great Sunday. Sending best wishes to all!

Have a safe and fun trip back home, Victoria! Love the jumper. Good blog post!

well, now that my computer is back together again I can continue visiting! Penny went to jump on the desk, somehow missed, or got her foot caught in something, not sure which.
Anyway, she fell between couch and desk and in an attempt to keep from falling grabbed the nearest thing which just happened to be some cords from the computer.
My keyboard went flying one way, the mouse another and after Penny landed she took off in yet another direction.
All electronics and animals are fine.
Just one of those moments you wish a camera was filming it all!

I'm glad Penny is all right!

Good Sunday Afternoon!!! I am way far behind on the posts, but slowly trying to catch up!! It is a gorgeous day in Ohio. I have the Browns on tv (they HAVE to beat the Ravens!) - I'm at the lake - just me & Buster! Jim already headed home b/c he is going to a 50th Wedding Anniversary open house with his sisters. (the outlaws aren't going) (that's ok, b/c I don't feel like dressing up today!) The open house is for people who were their neighbors when they lived at home w/ their parents. Cheers to 50 years!!

I am excited - I just planned a "60th birthday bike ride & dinner" for my brother who passed away last year. He would be 60 on Wednesday - Sept. 18th. He was a big bike (bicycle) rider! (also motorcycle, but that's another story...lol) I texted all my brother/sister/nieces/nephews/parents & invited them to our trailer at the lake Wed night & they will have to pay $$$ (donate whatever they want) to ride the bike path & dinner after - the $$$ will go to Mike's Scholarship fund at WSU! I am making a BBQ Chicken Lasagna (they will be guinea pigs) & I'm not sure what else. (pending what everyone brings) It will probably take more than 1 pan of lasagna, so I will make another type of lasagna too - maybe buffalo chicken or Mexican lasagna or just plain ol lasagna - or maybe spaghetti?!? I'm really looking fwd to it. And I told them if the weather is good & anyone wants to stick around, we'll have movie night - watching a movie on the big screen!! YAY!!! AND I think I'll use a vacation Wednesday too - early morning walk, coffee on the patio, then I'll start cooking! Who else is coming???

I'm off to read posts...I hope you are all having a GREAT weekend!!!!

What a lovely way to honor your brother, Holiday! I hope you had a great weekend and are having an even better week!

Hi all - long time no speak!

Hope you are all ok - I will have to try and catch up on events!

19 minutes and counting until we are down to double digits!...

Sooooo excited!!!

Good to see you, tsah!

********** MILESTONE DAY **********

Good Morning, Everyone!

First up. Many thanks to a special one of our own.
The one - the only - Brent.
For filling in so capably for yours truly.
It was a pleasure to sit back and read the count for a change, especially when it was presented so artistically!

Well, they are all open.

The 200-day Season and Christmas Day Windows -- check!
The 100-day Season and Christmas Day Windows -- check!
All open wide, with nothing but double digits visible ahead, followed no doubt all too soon by SINGLE digits!
<< Wow!! >>
Wow is the word.

Days to the Season: 58
Days to Christmas Day: 100

And be forwarned.
After our next Milestone (the 3/4 Christmas Day marker, just NINE days away!) the following one is the 90 percent home stretch Season Milestone!!

Cooler yesterday with low humidity.
Nice!
More of the same today, I hope.
We show 69 degrees here, currently, with a light rain falling.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Folks.
Keep your eye on the sparrow and your thoughts on the Season!

Hi everyone, just had an exciting call from my brother tonight, he and my sister in law are expecting their first child :) my mum is so excited she said it's like Christmas and birthdays all rolled into one!!

Congratulations to your family, Kizzy!

Good evening, MMC!

I hope this finds everyone well.

I missed being on here yesterday as I was giving the knee that bothers me so much a rest by not using it much. That meant no computer as I forgot to charge it and could not use it unless I was sitting at my desk. It was feeling lots better until I squatted down a few hours ago to adjust the gate that blocks the stairs down to the basement - Palmer is not allowed down there. I used my time off wisely - read the majority of Dan Brown's Inferno. cheesy

This area is under a frost advisory. It was too windy to cover the garden when it was light out and now that it is dark, the wind had died down. I really hope my gardens will be okay! I did pick a couple of baskets of green tomatoes just to be on the safe side. I would go out and cover the plants, but there are too many ground mole holes - dangerous in the dark!

Paperwork is awaiting me yet this evening so I will bid all of you a very MERRY night!

:sparkle:

Happy Milestone Day, MMC!!!

I'd agree. It was okay but not my favorite book of his.

I hope your garden fares well, but I have to admit to a great deal of envy concerning your frost advisory. At one point today, the thermometer read 95°. It's a much nicer 77° now at 9pm.

It's in the low 50's here right now.

Hi guys =]

Thanks for thinking of me.
Made's habits are wearing off on me, and I never dozed off last night. My brain wouldn't turn off, I guess. So frustrating.
I rested a lot today, and applied to a few different places. We really need the money, so please keep your fingers crossed.
Sorry I haven't commented on anything, I did get caught up but am pretty darn exhausted. Thinking of you all, you're always close to my heart.

Harlowe sends her love, too!

xx
