All of them! :D

I never really meant to collect Santas but after years of buying Christmas decor and tree decorations I tend to gravitate to Santa Claus. I have a lot of them! I have more Santas than any other type of decoration in my collection of Christmas goodies.

That is very cool, CAH!!
I'd love to see some pics when you put them all out!!

We are having a debate in my house.....

When is is appropriate to bring out the Christmas dinnerware and mugs?

Me: November 1st
Mom: Thanksgiving
Brother: December 1st

I plan on winning this one!! There is no way I am waiting until December 1st! I can barely have them out over a month that way!

I get all of mine out by November 1st!

Xmas365 just started something. I have the Rick Steve's European Christmas DVD on. I am enjoying listening to it while I clean and taking small breaks for a quick visit on here. =)

Let me know what you think of the music in the DVD, Xmas365! You will hear some familiar Christmas tunes that are commonly played here in the U.S.A. and others that are not so familiar to us, from their country. I love it all!

Good morning all. The weather is starting to look nice here. The forecast high today is 69. Looking out on the 10 day forecast our highs should stay in the mid 70s with lows in upper 40s/lower 50s. Hopefully we are finished with 80 degree days. This coming Sunday we get to celebrate the start of Fall. Hope the first frost is soon.

We are driving down to check on my parents this weekend. Right now they are holding their own. We are now praying they are home and able to enjoy Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Have a bless day all.

Have a safe trip. I continue to pray for you and think of you often.

Was I supposed to put them away last year?

I weighed myself this morning to see how I am doing with my "diet" after my cholesterol screening last week, and according to my scale I have lost 6lbs in a week. I was expecting 1-2 maybe 3lbs at most but 6?!!!! I must have been ingesting quite a bit of calories before I have gone to sensible portions, and I have cut out the candy for the most part, and the free donuts at work.

Thats great xmas, congrats!

We saw some apartments yesterday but they were out of our price range. We'd sooner stay here than downsize and pay more! That doesn't make much sense. I have an appointment this afternoon for what appears to be a decent apartment. We'll see how it goes. Otherwise, Kim and I have an appointment tomorrow morning for the apartment that we really want! It isn't listed online. There is just a small FOR RENT sign in front of the house. It's the first floor and basement of a home... and at a decent price. We're really hoping that it works out. It would be wonderful if they let us move into it in November but we are going to see if they will at least let us hold off until mid-October. The only problem is I don't know if I can afford double rent... We'll see! I think I can work it all out. I need a job!

Good luck with the job hunt and also the apartment hunting!

Hope she is feeling better quick!! Lots of that going around. No wonder - 100º down to 40's in less than a week! Geesh! Enjoy your day!

Yes, the weather has been crazy here too!

Hope the app going ok and hopefully it nothing only a sore throat ~} take care

Hope your youngest feels better soon, and that it isn't strep throat.
Have a great day, friend!!

Thankfully, it doesn't look like its strep. She will be heading back to school tomorrow.

.

Now that's worth having an allergy attack for! *achoo*

cheesy

Uh oh! Who's sick? (I missed another post, of course! Sorry!)

My youngest woke up with a sore throat. It's only the second week of school!

I agree with you!!!!

Going to try to get caught up with posts since bedtime last night. It's been so busy at the office I haven't been able to even stick my nose in the door today. I've missed you!

Good morning, MMC!

It was only 46 degrees when I woke up this morning. I wasn't expecting it to be so cold! We had to turn the heat on in my house.

I know I haven't been around very much. I just had surgery on Friday. It is nothing serious and I have known that I'd be getting the surgery for quite some time. It went smoothly except my heart rate jumped up to over 200 in recovery. Apparently during my surgery they gave me adrenaline so that caused the jump. They had to give me a beta blocker and then it dropped back down near 120. My resting heart rate is always near 100 so I wasn't too surprised considering the anesthesia and the other stuff they probably gave me. I had EKGs done while I was there and everything was fine. I got to go home the same day as the surgery.

Now that I have so much free time on my hands I will just have to spend it here :D

I am loving all of the fall candles and I cannot wait for the holidays, woo hoo!

Glad your surgery went well and the heart rate was just caused by the meds. Take care.

yeah, I am able to get back on here! Was locked out for awhile there, not sure what I said to be sent to a time out!
I am off to my first shift back at subway in a bit. It is going to be strange to be back there again. Went over what is on the subs to refresh myself. Look forward to seeing some of my old customers again.
Have a great day everyone, I will try and check in on my break.

Hope your first day back went well!

I had a big, long post typed up and hit "Submit Reply"...then it took me to the "Having trouble accessing My Merry Christmas?" page...and the whole post was lost.

Sometimes if I have a long reply, I'll do a Ctrl+A (to copy it to the Clipboard) before I hit Submit Reply. Then if it happens to get lost, all I have to do is open a new post and Ctrl+V to paste it in. But I have to remember to do it.

Good morning,

I watched the rest of the game last night and saw my Bengals pull out a tough win. I tried to come back here a few times during the game but couldn't get on, I was worried my IP address was blocked again but here I am. I dropped the boys off at school and then took a trip to KMart to look at their Halloween stuff, nothing too exciting this year, but their Harvest/Thanksgiving stuff was was very nice. I then went to check out Goodwill for their Christmas stuff, no good decorations, but I did get a Christmas DVD for $2, "Rick Steves European Christmas" I know you are a big fan of that CAH, so I got it partly because of your past reviews on it. (and the fact it was only $2)

I weighed myself this morning to see how I am doing with my "diet" after my cholesterol screening last week, and according to my scale I have lost 6lbs in a week. I have things to do around the house, I will be popping on throughout the day.
Have a great Tuesday!!

Good job to the Bengals. I am true Steelers fan and no matter what happens, I will cheer for them if they would lose every game, but things just don't think promising this year.

That's wonderful with your weight loss! Sounds like you're on the road to a healthy, new start!

Go ahead! We'll take whatever we can get!

Took a walk at Crabtree Valley Mall this morning.
Good news and bad news.

The bad: Still no sign of "A Christmas To Remember" or any empty space they could use.

The good: Macys and Sears were both in the process of putting out their Christmas stock and Belks' display is already fully up and opened!

If worse comes to worse, I can always launch the Blossoms tread with photos of one of those.
