Good job to the Bengals. I am true Steelers fan and no matter what happens, I will cheer for them if they would lose every game, but things just don't think promising this year.

That's wonderful with your weight loss! Sounds like you're on the road to a healthy, new start!

Good for you!!! Always stick with your team!

I have stuck with the Bengals since the early 80's, all through the dreadful 90's. I always followed them but all the losing made me lose a lot of interest in football, that is why I only watch the Bengals, I can't sit through a game I have no following. My bro in law tried to get me to switch allegiances to the Patriots, but I am no bandwagon jumper like 95% of their fans are around here.

My kids are driving me BONKERS!!!!!!

Santa, I hope you are watching!!!

LOL!! He always is!! You may need to get your Elf On The Shelf out early!

Best of luck with the job search, something will turn up soon I'm sure. Hang in there!

Thank you! I'm doing my best. I don't blame you about the coats. I just like wearing shorts an a t-shirt!

Took a walk at Crabtree Valley Mall this morning.
Good news and bad news.

The bad: Still no sign of "A Christmas To Remember" or any empty space they could use.

The good: Macys and Sears were both in the process of putting out their Christmas stock and Belks' display is already fully up and opened!

If worse comes to worse, I can always launch the Blossoms tread with photos of one of those.

Disappointing, but exciting at the same time. I'm sure seeing the display in Belks made the trip worth your while, Crown!

I can't wait to find the same in Ottawa.

My attendance was kind of crummy in school because I caught everything and had asthma. It never failed that when I wanted badly to have good attendance I would manage to get sick within the first 2 weeks of school.

I hope she gets well soon!

Thank you! I'm praying there isn't going to be a lot of sickness this year.

Ok, one more for the road :)

Wow!! Thanks for sharing the photos! So exciting. I must do some searching as soon as possible.

I originally put it back, but changed my mind because of the price. They also had an accompanying CD with it but I did not buy that, I'll have to watch it first and if I like the music enough I will go back and buy it if it is still there.
The other thing about the DVD, it was never opened!!! cheesy

A CD? As in the music from the show??? I don't have that but want it! I might do a search online and buy it. The music from the show has grown on me.

Same here! I have been a die hard Cowboys fan since I was 5 years old sitting with my dad and uncle screaming right along with them as they cheered them on! I had no idea what was going on then but it was fun yelling at the TV!

We are having a debate in my house.....

When is is appropriate to bring out the Christmas dinnerware and mugs?

Me: November 1st
Mom: Thanksgiving
Brother: December 1st

I plan on winning this one!! There is no way I am waiting until December 1st! I can barely have them out over a month that way!

In my opinion, it varies according to your location.

In Canada, there isn't a national holiday between Halloween and Christmas. Although Remembrance Day should be a national holiday on November 11th, it isn't recognized. Therefore, you're really not getting too far ahead of yourself in terms of preparing for the "next" season. In my opinion, November 1st or November 12th/13th are acceptable. The 13th would be perfect, however, as it is the beginning of the Christmas Season!

In the US, I would say to wait until after Thanksgiving... or decorate during Thanksgiving. The family is together, why not make decorating fun?! Of course, I would still be tempted to decorate earlier.

Overseas, I guess it depends on your local/national holidays!

As for here, I don't mind decorating shortly after Halloween. Kim likes the decorations to be up for a while, so I leave it up to her. It's a win-win!

Again, this is for decorating. In terms of mugs and dinnerware, I think it is completely acceptable for November 1st. You win!

Hello all. It hit me today....next week is probably THE week the Blossoms thread will open. I can't wait!!!!!

Hmmm.....
Next week?
Well. Maybe.
Then again........
Hmmm.....

Regardless -- before the end of the month.
(Would hate to launch prematurely, then have "A Christmas To Remember" show up the next day!)

Actually, next week IS the last full week in September!
(Time is really flying by, isn't it?)

Pumpkin Spice M&M's= Not bad.

My wife would love them, she loves pumpkin. Me, pumpkin is one of my least favorite flavors out there. I once ate a pumpkin donut at work, I stopped eating donuts for 2 years, because all I could think of was that pumpkin flavor. cheesy
