Oh my! Emotions are hitting our house hard tonight! One second my wife thinks she's Batman, then she's acting like the crazy lady in Fatal Attraction, then she's crying because I didn't hang up MY dress pants right (they should have been folder another way)....

Whew....I would stay and chat....but I think I'm going to hide in the closet...if you see her coming towards you....be very quiet.....

Man, I hope Little Bambina gets here soon....

Five -- count 'em -- FIVE more days remain until we are three-quarters of the way back to Christmas.

The nicely cool/low humidity situation is continuing as we draw nigh to the first day of Fall (this Sunday).
Today has commenced at 65 degrees here in the capital city, and a very light rain has just finished falling.

How are you?

I am doing well & feeling better than I have in a long while!! I had an interview at TJ Maxx today, and it went very well. I went in there with a lot of confidence and nailed it. They offered me a position, and I start next week! There is a lot of growth potential, and I know exactly where I'm headed

I feel so relieved!! We were worried that we would have to move if I didn't find something soon. We'll still have to cut back on things, but this is a great start! And it feels wonderful to set goals again, and to be working toward them.

Thank you all for your thoughts & prayers, they have really meant a lot to me.

Harlowe continues to do well =] Thank God!! Feeling very blessed.

We are getting a lot of wonderful rain today, and we really need it. There was even a gorgeous rainbow.

Off to do some laundry, and walk Har.

It is getting very cloudy out - chance of thunderstorms through tomorrow. Today is the Homecoming parade - I thought it was tomorrow before the football game and had made plans to go then. Guess I am out of luck this year. It is probably a good thing - I did not sleep all that good so I can take things easy for the rest of the night. There is some work I need to get caught up on, as usual.

To bad you missed the parade but atleast you got to have a quiet evening and hopefully catch up on your work.

got called into work today at Subway. Not very busy, asked to train the new lady who turned out to be my friend! LOL She told me she was going to apply there but then I never heard back from her. So that was a nice surprise.

I am having a problem with my knee suddenly, I go one way and it wants to go the other! I seem ok with just walking and standing most of the time. Sitting and bending it hurts. When it does go the other way it really gives me a shock of pain, but that leave quickly.
So all you medical specialists, what do you think is wrong with it? Should I go to the doc or just wait it out? You have to know I do not like my doc, but when you have a doc you are not allowed to change because we have such a shortage right now. His diagnoses for most everything wrong with me is , loose weight. Plus, I hate going to the doc, he just might tell me something is actually wrong, and I really do not want to hear that after finally getting a second job!

Have you tried a knee band? I hope it is only a minor thing and you won't have to go to the Doctor.

Not the best day. I have some pinkness by where my incision was so the surgeon isn't sure if I have an infection that is starting, a rash, or an allergy to the antibiotic that I just finished. I have to pray that it goes away because the surgeon is slightly concerned.

On top of that, my surgeon looked at a mole on my arm and told me that I am going to need it removed. Precancerous. It's a little scary considering I am only 22!

At least tomorrow is a new day...and Friday at that!

How worrying. I hope it heals quickly. I'm sorry you have to have another procedure. You will be in my prayers and I hope it all goes well.

My Buster is having a rough couple days!! Last night we were both up 3/4 of the night. I had giving him a bath yesterday thinking that usually helps his allergies. Well, not this time. He was actually doing pretty good w/ allergies this year but last night he was itching, scratching, biting, pacing, panting a good part of the night. I thought I was going to be taking him straight to the vet at 7:30 am! I put him outside around 4 am & he fell asleep outside in the 20 min he was out there!! WTH?? I let him in & he did fall asleep for a bit. Then I heard him get up, but he laid back down & at 7am he was sleeping like a baby- he was still sleeping when I left for work! I get home from lunch...he had thrown up at least twice! Once on the bedroom carpet & once on the linoleum in the hallway! In the hallway he had walked through it multiple times, so it was spread all over! So I cleaned carpets & scrubbed floors at lunch. But HE looked like he was feeling much better! After work tonight he slept quite a bit & now he is up & at um! I just fed him a little bit & he gobbled it down, so hopefully it will stay down this time & he SLEEPS good tonight!! I did grab 1 can of an off brand of canned dog food by mistake & I gave that too him last night & today. Maybe that was a mistake. Also I gave him his flea/tick treatment a couple days ago & last month a day or 2 after his flea treatment he got sick. Maybe that has something to do with it too. I dunno, but I hope he gets better & not worse!!!

I hope Buster feels better soon. it must be very frustrating for you both.

Sure, I would like it just a tad bit cooler but I will take this! The highs will be in the 80's up until Monday then get back up in the 90's again. :dance:

Maybe, just maybe, I will get more of my fall decorations out. I just have not been in the mood with all this heat we are dealing with.

My granddaughter has been asking every day to get the Christmas Tree out. I just might get a table top Christmas Tree out for her if she ask again. Why not? What's the harm? No harm at all! She wants Christmas, she will get Christmas. I do have some orange lights so we just might do a Halloween Tree.

Morning! Is it really Friday again! Next week is the final week of September!!!!! October is like my Pre start to the season. I can't wait!

THANK YOU all for the prayers and support! It means alot to me We will hopefully know by the end of today where things stand with DH's new role. Praying for good news. DH got home safely in the car thank goodness. However instead of taking it to the mechanic he has decided that he is going to fix it himself (WHAT?)! Men!! So I guess that's our plans for the weekend.....

There are christmas and Halloween things in all the shops now. It is graudually building up more and more each time I pop in. I had to take a moment to digest it all this morning. I really can't believe we have gotten to this time of year!!!!!

Ok well have a fun friday everybody!

Good morning everyone!

After a weekend full of apartment visits, Kim and I are still empty-handed. The one we REALLY liked had a few downfalls that Kim couldn't part with. For instance, she really wants a cat. It said no pets. The parking situation wasn't ideal and there was no laundry onsite. OK, the laundry was the biggest downfall for me, too. Although I also wouldn't mind a cat... So, we're still looking! Hopefully a few more will pop up this month. I really want to be out of here for November...!

As for today, we have no showings scheduled, but we're hoping to make our way down to Walmart and (the new) Target. Kim wants to check out a few things and I really want to sneak into the "seasonal" section to see if anything interesting is on display! I hope I'll have some more pictures to contribute to the soon-to-debut Blossoms thread!

Well, I have a few things that need to be done before Kim wakes up. Hopefully it is soon. She does have to work this afternoon.

Hugs for poor Buster, and for you, too, taking care of him and cleaning up after him! It could have been the off-brand dog food ... some dogs' stomachs are very sensitive to any change.

Good morning!
It is going to be sunny and much warmer today. The temperatures will gradually cool off again over the weekend.
Today I am going to the butcher and then Whole Foods to pick up a few gluten free items. I will do the rest of my food shopping tomorrow. Not too much else planned for today but I'm sure I will keep busy, I always do.
Hoping my husband will get to the car dealer to finalize the deal on my daughters car. I would love to get the car for her this weekend. I am starting the babysitting job next week and it will be a huge help if my daughter is able to drive herself in to school in the morning.
