Good morning everyone!

After a weekend full of apartment visits, Kim and I are still empty-handed. The one we REALLY liked had a few downfalls that Kim couldn't part with. For instance, she really wants a cat. It said no pets. The parking situation wasn't ideal and there was no laundry onsite. OK, the laundry was the biggest downfall for me, too. Although I also wouldn't mind a cat... So, we're still looking! Hopefully a few more will pop up this month. I really want to be out of here for November...!

As for today, we have no showings scheduled, but we're hoping to make our way down to Walmart and (the new) Target. Kim wants to check out a few things and I really want to sneak into the "seasonal" section to see if anything interesting is on display! I hope I'll have some more pictures to contribute to the soon-to-debut Blossoms thread!

Well, I have a few things that need to be done before Kim wakes up. Hopefully it is soon. She does have to work this afternoon.

Yesterday we heard shocking news! A cousin of my grandmother (on my fathers side) comited extended suicide with his wife this monday. They were around the age of my grandparents. There were no signs prior that something was wrong, both were attending a class reunion on saturday, they had been in church on sunday and seemed like always. Both were still very healthy and had a nice house (without debts). The cousin was a hunter therefore he had a gun (gun laws in my country are very strict). I only meet them on bigger family reunions and didn't know them very well but I'm still at loss for words and just shocked. Don't know why they would do something like that in their age.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I will be praying for you and your family!

It is a rainy, humid day out. A bit of work to finish up for tomorrow. I am moving around a lot slower than normal so it is taking me longer to do things now. Should be back to normal in 2 -3 months, if not sooner. I'm hoping for sooner! If not, I can catch up on my crafting. Always a bright side!!!

We are having a debate in my house.....

When is is appropriate to bring out the Christmas dinnerware and mugs?

Me: November 1st
Mom: Thanksgiving
Brother: December 1st

I plan on winning this one!! There is no way I am waiting until December 1st! I can barely have them out over a month that way!

By the looks of the radar we are going to get worse yet before it is over.

Just getting over sickenss with kidney stones! so much fun was that!(not) well our leaves are already changing and I need to rake but I am going to put if off a few more weeks! Hope everyone is doing good I have missed my Christmas buddies!

Busy day at work, not much going on in my neck of the woods.

We will be decorating for Halloween on Sunday, or as I call it practice for Christmas decorating. cheesy I just have to get through my shift tomorrow for my day off.
