Glorious summer day here - back in tee shirts and shorts weather. Works fine for me as I'm planting bulbs for next spring.

My friend from Montreal is coming to stay next Monday for 2 weeks. Phoned her today to finalise all the details only to discover from her husband she flew out 5 days ago! Lesson to be learned here - read emails more carefully! Turns out she flies to Heathrow on the 24th, like I expected but from Paris, not Montreal! For one heart stopping moment, I thought I'd really screwed it up and she would be on my doorstep on Tuesday - which REALLY wouldn't be good - haven't found her room yet. I know I last saw it at the end of the hall next to the bathroom but that's as good as it gets at the moment!!!

Good morning everyone!

It's a chilly day in Ottawa. Temperatures should reach the mid teens/50s. No warmer. There is also a cool wind to make it feel that much more like Fall... Speaking of Fall... Today is in fact the first day of Autumn! The season that introduces our favourite Season and preludes our favourite day of the year has arrived! Bring on the beautiful colours, delicious holidays and seasonal treats. We're getting close!

Kim and I will be going to the grocery store in a few moments. We haven't done any major grocery shopping in about a month. This is very much needed. I'm excited to have food around the house and have a nice home-cooked meal tonight. I'm not that excited about preparing and making it, but I will take it.

The Packers play the Bengals today in Cincinnati. It should be a pretty good game. Good luck to your team, xmas365. I am sure that you will be watching as closely/intensely as I am!

OK, I need to get ready. Perhaps I will see a few Christmas items popping out at the grocery store today. I believe I spotted a few last year at this time. Really do like the idea of changing the color of lights on the tree. My wife is strictly white lights and I prefer the colored lights., we try to switch it up each year so we both can have what we like.

Good morning/afternnoon my mmc friends
Its a real autumn day here cool, but bright and dry ( no rain)
Hows all good with each of you this sunday made your be good to when you drop the girls of lol

Have our 1st meeting tomorrow night to discuss the christmas lights switch on .. mmmm could be excitng as a few are dont agree lol

No plans for today just a lazy one.. have went mad this year and bought halloween stuff like 2 loads ~{ from a shopping chain ( clintons) that closed down there shops earlier in the year. so am a little hit and miss on it.. never really had halloween stuff before but at the same time there is only one shop in my town that does it and they are expensive.. so am hoping ~} my little town is small

Birds and hounds doing good. scooby has been throwing up this past few weeks have him on special food as i feel he has acid reflux and i think ( touch wood) am winning he is starting to not throw up as much..

you need to pick a date a then decide to use that same one every year. That will get rid of any arguments in the future. Say, first weekend in November, or what ever weekend that works for you.

Happy first day of Fall everyone! We finally made it! It readlly feels like it at the moment. Temps are at 62F right now with sunny skies. Although its suppose to cloud up and maybe get some rain this afternoon. Tonight we are going to see the upper 40's,and maybe get to 68F tomorrow. Perfect early fall weather if you ask me. brandi and the boys have gone to church and I stayed home to cook lunch (hamburgers and chips) for them when they return. This afternoon/evening we are all going to watch a replay of home alone 2. Jordan loves watching the Maukaley kid talking in it Have a good afternoon everyone...oh and my Bulldawgs won yesterday against north texas..next 2 weeks are going to be very good games with LSU and Tennessee!!! Go dawgs!
