Well, sadly there is still absolutely no sign that "A Christmas To Remember" will be returning this year to Crabtree.
HOWEVER, our long-anticipated Blossoms thread WILL launch some time next week.
I was at Crabtree yesterday and snapped 15 photos at Hallmark, Belks, Sears and Macy's. I'll sort through them and choose the best ones to start off the thread with.

Really do like the idea of changing the color of lights on the tree. My wife is strictly white lights and I prefer the colored lights., we try to switch it up each year so we both can have what we like.

Happy first day of Fall everyone! We finally made it! It readlly feels like it at the moment. Temps are at 62F right now with sunny skies. Although its suppose to cloud up and maybe get some rain this afternoon. Tonight we are going to see the upper 40's,and maybe get to 68F tomorrow. Perfect early fall weather if you ask me. brandi and the boys have gone to church and I stayed home to cook lunch (hamburgers and chips) for them when they return. This afternoon/evening we are all going to watch a replay of home alone 2. Jordan loves watching the Maukaley kid talking in it Have a good afternoon everyone...oh and my Bulldawgs won yesterday against north texas..next 2 weeks are going to be very good games with LSU and Tennessee!!! Go dawgs!

Good morning everyone!

It's a chilly day in Ottawa. Temperatures should reach the mid teens/50s. No warmer. There is also a cool wind to make it feel that much more like Fall... Speaking of Fall... Today is in fact the first day of Autumn! The season that introduces our favourite Season and preludes our favourite day of the year has arrived! Bring on the beautiful colours, delicious holidays and seasonal treats. We're getting close!

Kim and I will be going to the grocery store in a few moments. We haven't done any major grocery shopping in about a month. This is very much needed. I'm excited to have food around the house and have a nice home-cooked meal tonight. I'm not that excited about preparing and making it, but I will take it.

The Packers play the Bengals today in Cincinnati. It should be a pretty good game. Good luck to your team, xmas365. I am sure that you will be watching as closely/intensely as I am!

OK, I need to get ready. Perhaps I will see a few Christmas items popping out at the grocery store today. I believe I spotted a few last year at this time. It definitely brings some excitement to shopping at this time of year. Have a great Sunday, everyone! Enjoy the rest of your weekend while you can!

My friend from Montreal is coming to stay next Monday for 2 weeks. Phoned her today to finalise all the details only to discover from her husband she flew out 5 days ago! Lesson to be learned here - read emails more carefully! Turns out she flies to Heathrow on the 24th, like I expected but from Paris, not Montreal! For one heart stopping moment, I thought I'd really screwed it up and she would be on my doorstep on Tuesday - which REALLY wouldn't be good - haven't found her room yet. I know I last saw it at the end of the hall next to the bathroom but that's as good as it gets at the moment!!!

I need to plant bulbs yet too, but it has been to wet here to get started.
MY knee hurts, but only when I walk.

I slept in until almost 930 this morning!!!! Then we had chocolate chip pancakes and turkey bacon for breakfast, so far it's been a good day.

Now if the Bengals can beat the Packers it will really be a good day!!!!

I may have to run out to get a new faucet for the kitchen sink, ours has sprung a major leak that can't be fixed with duct tape. cheesy

It has to be said, you know when fall arrives because new seasons start on TV. Tonight, it's Downton Abbey........can't WAIT!!!!!!!!

Next week is Strictly Come Dancing which is just a British way of saying Dancing with the Stars. Can wait a little longer for that one but ......DOWNTON!!!!
