I definitely want an artificial tree that looks more real, I love my trees but I miss the real look.

Real-looking artificial trees are out there, mostly on the Internet, but you pay a real premium for them. (Think a few hundred dollars.) I bought a new one last year, and really sweated over getting the look I wanted. I only needed a 4-1/2-footer, though, so the price high, but not horrific. You can save a little if you get an unlighted one and string the lights yourself.

Now that Big Brother USA is over I need some new fall reality shows to watch. I wanted to see the premiere of dancing with the stars because I liked a lot of the actors but I see I missed the premiere. I also missed Survivor 27 last week too...Now if I don't get into it soon I will be a lost cause. In the fall I only watch college football not into Pro football much. Sundays in the fall are spent watching Halloween and Christmas movies! I love this time of year!

The branches on my tree are starting to fall apart, but it was a Walmart $40 special that we have had for 8 years, and with 5 cats we are lucky it is in as good of shape that it is.

Sounds like you got a good deal and great use out of it.

Christmas tree guy is getting tired!!! No plug to plug the tree into. Couldn't get the top of the tree to go in. I can't wait to see how it goes in another 5 or 6 hours!!!

I'm still seriously thinking about getting one too. I just have to make up mind if I really want to spend $350 on a 6.5 foot tree right now or not.
