Hi MMC! Happy Monday. Feeling fallish here in PA today. It's 56 now and we just got home from dropping Jude off at kindergarten and going to the park and man, was it chilly with the breeze! LOVE IT! I am wearing a cozy sweater. Noel and I collected pine cones and I started a pine cone garland. I was looking at photos of my outdoor decor last year and got excited!

Post pictures when you are done with it!!!!

Cheers! I really need to spray paint them soon, hopefully this weekend if I can get some time. On saturday I bought some some old fashioned twine to hang them with. I also bought some scented oil to put on them , it is a lovely christmassy smell called ''Festive! '' Anyway I'm getting there even if slowly.

:lol: Since I golfed with my hubby, uncle & cousin (all men) - I didn't have to tea off or drive - I was just a putter! It was AWESOME! But yes, I can definately throw it further than I can hit it! LOL!!!

They MAY still be there after Thanksgiving, the way things are going! I have a segment of brick wall next to my desk. I'm planning to get some brick clips (clips that grasp the brick and provide a hook for hanging things) and hang a lighted wreath there. It's battery-operated and has a timer---8 hours on, 16 hours off---perfect! And I always bring in a lighted desktop tree.

Chicken dinners were delish & golf outing went very well. They ended up with 21 teams. I got to see a lot of my cousins & aunts/uncles! Was a great day!

I am going to cook some Italian food tonight, and we are going to watch Argo. Tomorrow, hubby has to leave on a business trip, so Har & I are going to whoop it up have a girl's weekend, lol.

good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm not having my best day ever, but I 'spect it'll get better. We went to Lowe's yesterday and bought a few pumpkins, and they were putting out the Christmas stuff, too. There was a nice Christmas display at Belks yesterday, too.

What a beautiful weekend! Lows in the 60's and highs in the lower to mid 80's! I think this is the summer weather for you folks up north and if I could have that all summer long I would take it in a heartbeat! Lovely!

On Saturday Wayne and I went for a short bike ride at the lake then headed to a historic downtown nearby. The streets were crowded! According to the lady at the visitor bureau it was the first nice day we have had all summer long and people were finally getting out of the house. She said it hasn't been like that all summer long. People just don't get outside much in the summer here except for swimming and that's just about it. Serious cabin fever! Kids were outside playing too! It was so nice to walk around outside and feel comfortable!

I actually have my windows opened and getting some cool air in the house. Loving it!

The temps will go back up starting Wednesday to the lower 90's, not too bad. We will cool down again this weekend.

I hope you all have a Merry Day!

Sounds like a fun weekend! Enjoy your cooler temps!! I rode my bike from home to the lake yesterday morning. It was 44º when I wanted to leave - so I waited until 8:30 - it was up to 46º by then :lol: - I poured a cup of HOT coffee, turned Christmas music on my Pandora, bucked wind the whole trip....and it was GREAT!!! Brisk morning bike ride!!! This morning it was 40º! :cold: I would have turned the furnace on here at work this morning if it were just me here. Feels chilly!!!

Yesterday I went with the girls from the lake to Ben Franklin! I could have gone crazy in that store! I bought 3 pumpkins, leaf static clings for the windows at the lake, some decorative fall leaves (I set them under a pumpkin at the lake) some leaf garland for the lake, and for my wind chime stand at home. My mums & pansy's were delivered Saturday. Time to start decorating!!! I have never decorated for fall at the lake before, so it was pretty exciting!!!

We sometimes have to reset ours for Netflix, not sure why that's been happening, but then it works...

That's encouraging. Amazon Instant Video is what I use instead of Netflix, so what fixes Netflix will probably work for Amazon. It's all streaming video. Thanks!

Good late morning everyone! it's a chilly 47F outside but it is sunny so we should rebound up to about 66F this afternoon. The leaves are really started to pop now,I think our peak week of leaf color is the first week of October. Which is just next week. Anyway work it going pretty well so far today, I am trying to decide what to eat for lunch! Have a great Monday everyone!
