Good late morning everyone! it's a chilly 47F outside but it is sunny so we should rebound up to about 66F this afternoon. The leaves are really started to pop now,I think our peak week of leaf color is the first week of October. Which is just next week. Anyway work it going pretty well so far today, I am trying to decide what to eat for lunch! Have a great Monday everyone!

My first thought was, "Why haven't I heard about such low temps anywhere in GA?!?" Then I remembered. :lol:

Afternoon gang, Was in Walmart yesterday and they were starting to fill up some shelves in the lawn and garden area with Outdoor Christmas decorations and indoor Christmas trees. Wont be long now. Michaels Craft store had a few rows of Christmas decor too. Going to back there this weekend to pick up some ornament craft kits for the kids to do.

Absolutely love this time of the year!

That made me spit out my water!!! That sounds like what I listen too every morning with "bob and sheri" NOw that I am in Utah we don't have a radio station that carries them out here so I listen to them every morning at my desk via their website.They always do a "morons in the News" at 7 am and you would not believe the stuff people do...but this made me laugh!!!thanks for sharing!

Hi MMC! Happy Monday. Feeling fallish here in PA today. It's 56 now and we just got home from dropping Jude off at kindergarten and going to the park and man, was it chilly with the breeze! LOVE IT! I am wearing a cozy sweater. Noel and I collected pine cones and I started a pine cone garland. I was looking at photos of my outdoor decor last year and got excited!

what a wonderful morning! Would love to see pictures of your garland.

Afternoon gang, Was in Walmart yesterday and they were starting to fill up some shelves in the lawn and garden area with Outdoor Christmas decorations and indoor Christmas trees. Wont be long now. Michaels Craft store had a few rows of Christmas decor too. Going to back there this weekend to pick up some ornament craft kits for the kids to do.

Absolutely love this time of the year!

good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm not having my best day ever, but I 'spect it'll get better. We went to Lowe's yesterday and bought a few pumpkins, and they were putting out the Christmas stuff, too. There was a nice Christmas display at Belks yesterday, too.

Have not seen any good Christmas displays here in town yet, the autum stuff is great however! But now that plowing match, fall fair and savor Stratford are all over, I expect we will start seeing the Christmas stuff come out.

What a beautiful weekend! Lows in the 60's and highs in the lower to mid 80's! I think this is the summer weather for you folks up north and if I could have that all summer long I would take it in a heartbeat! Lovely!

LOL, we wish! Our temps this past summer were in the mid 90's without the humidity. I am so happy fall temps are now in place, much nicer for sure!
Hope your temps go down soon too.

Hello to everyone on MMC!

I haven't been on for few days and I see I missed A LOT. My family computer in Lithuania desperately needs re-installation and therefore, it works SO slowly that I'm not patient enough to use it. ^^ Anyway, as I am now back in Scotland, I will definitely catch up with all your news everyday. :]

I am finally back at uni, and I have had my first lecture today. Boy, I was more nervous than I had thought I will be. ^^ I'm sure everything will be okey soon as I will be back on track of my university routine. It's strange not to be a fresher though. ^^

I received an academic calendar today, so I already know when my Christmas break starts. I will start looking for tickets soon because when it comes to Christmas time, airlines aim to make a fortune then so the sooner I will get my ticket, the less I will pay. :]

I hope everyone is doing fine. If somehow anyone is facing some struggles, don't worry and breathe. There are ups and downs in life, and everything will turn to be okey in the end.

Yesterday I went with the girls from the lake to Ben Franklin! I could have gone crazy in that store! I bought 3 pumpkins, leaf static clings for the windows at the lake, some decorative fall leaves (I set them under a pumpkin at the lake) some leaf garland for the lake, and for my wind chime stand at home. My mums & pansy's were delivered Saturday. Time to start decorating!!! I have never decorated for fall at the lake before, so it was pretty exciting!!!

Same here! I got out for a walk a little while ago, and the sky is a clear, brilliant blue with only a few little puffy clouds near the horizon. Temps in the low 60s (F) with a breeze. If you like autumn days, this is the place to be! I was tempted to go twice around the block today, but I thought I shouldn't be missing from my desk for 20-25 minutes.

I hope your knee is on the mend and not painful.

Just got off the phone with my wife and found out my bro in law and sis in law are coming this weekend and staying all next week which is good we have not seen them in about a year! I may have to postpone my putting up Halloween decoration until the weekend of October 4th and 5th. We are panning to go pumpkin picking this weekend. So I will get a few and put them in the yard with some hay and a scarecrow. I still have not gotten to the store to get any new Halloween things, I will probably wait until the 4th to do that.But that is fine. I remember in Ga I always hated putting up my Halloween stuff when it was still 85F I ended up just throwing it up days before Halloween when it actually started cooling off. I always leave it up through mid November when they get replaced with Christmas stuff! I cant wait to go shopping for new holiday things(both Halloween and Xmas)!

web cams for leaves now? A person never has to go anywhere just need a good computer! LOL Of course, this is great for those folks who cannot get out, this way they get to see it too.
But if you are planning a trip, this would be a good way to make sure you actually get to see some color. Thanks Made, I like looking at web cams to see what is going on elsewhere!
