Christmas Blossoms - 2013

Friends!

We are back! Our little thread has returned for the 7th straight year here at MMC!

The time has come once again to launch our annual and highly anticipated Christmas Photo thread.
Time once again to search for "Christmas Blossoms" - visual signs that Christmas is coming and that we are entering and moving through Christmas Season 2013!

The purpose of this thread is to provide a place to post any Christmas Season-related photos you, your family or friends have taken this year.
(Please, no Google Image copy/paste!)

Alas, this year I will be unable to launch traditionally with photos of "A Christmas To Remember", seeing as how Crabtree Valley Mall had no room for them this year.

But Belks is fully up and running! (They usually are the first store at Crabtree to get their special Christmas section up.)

Enjoy (and please contribute to) the photo collection, so that we can really start getting into Christmas Season 2013!

2) Golden reindeer await new homes above a classic line of poinsettias.

3) As far as we are concerned, the "war on Christmas" is over and we won.
But it pays to have vigilant guys like these on the alert just in case!

Oh my, Crown! It looks magical already. As always, I am so excited for this thread and the rest of the world to Blossom and welcome the Christmas Season. Only three months remain between us and the Big Day, but there is plenty of time for celebrations and Christmas decorations.

I have a feeling that 2013 will be the best year yet for the Blossoms thread. My contributions will begin shortly. I am thrilled to see what everyone has to offer. There is nothing like seeing the Christmas Season happen throughout North American cities and the rest of the world!

I found Santa's car recently!

Countdown to Christmas!!

These were all taken recently at a restaurant in my hometown of La Crosse, WI. Santa was parked in their parking lot, and their countdown is out year round in the bar area- the owners are huge Christmas fans like us!!

My first contributions will be my first sights of Christmas being welcomed into a regional chain of grocery stores. Independent had some wonderful Christmas decorations across from their Halloween costumes on Sunday. I would be a lie if I said my eyes did not light up with excitement!

It's nothing too crazy, but the shelves are being stocked!
