We are at the age where you have to actually work at looking presentable!!! Anyway I am staying home with the boys and we are going to have a great time watching "Christmas vacation" and bro in law and sis in law and Brandi are going to the movies...I am actually looking forward to work tomorrow!!! With age comes wisdom!!!!

I work with a 20 y/o woman and she is complaining that she has nothing to do except sleep until 11am. I was thinking to myself I would have so much done by 11am.

I really don't miss being that age
 
Hello everyone. Well, it's been a challenging day and a bit rough, but overall I'm always blessed. I hope all of you are having a great Sunday. I haven't even checked football scores. Have I missed anything good?

I remember when we first got internet and how sweet it was. I remember the sound of the old America Online booting up and telling me I had mail.

My wife and I were talking about how when we were first college students there were no online courses. For distant learning we had to watch tapes of the professor's lecture (on VHS!), and then take tests in the testing center. Long time ago it seems. :)

BTW I wanted to correct one thing I said. Me and Brandi are not 15 years apart in age. I am 38 almost 39 in Dec. She will be 26 in a few weeks so we are more like almost 13 years..15 sounds like so much!! This would have been her 4th year teaching school. Age is something me and her never think about we have so much in common. I just wanted to correct the error. I am 15 years older than her youngest sister!!!! Have a great night everyone I will still pop in after the movie us boys are going to watch...(mainly just me)lol

I am to the part in Christmas Vacation to where Clark finally gets his lights on(actually Ellen get his lights on) and he goes down the line crying and hugging his family and in laws. Then he gets to Eddie and Catherine. The one thing that has always peaked my curiosity and maybe I dwell on things in movies too much but I don't understand how Clarks in laws treat him so bad and they are over the moon for Catherine and Eddie although Clark is very successful and Eddie lives in a motorcoach and his 2 oldest children are working for the circus and are in drug rehab. Clarks in laws just treat him so bad the whole movie...lol has anyone else every thought about that or is it just me?
Oh well I am going to go to bed as soon as it is over with. Jordan and James are already asleep so I hope they sleep until 6 am when I have to get up. I hope everyone had a great weekend and I will talk to y'all in the morning! Sleep well!

oh good someone that thinks about the weird stuff like I do! My kids are always telling me to stop it, I am ruining the movie! LOL

The zoo, farmers market and of course garage sales and thrift stores! I did not find much which was disappointing, but my best find was a chocolate fountain! Going to have fun with that.
The drive there and back was fun too with many interesting stops along the way.

I've often wondered that too, is it a son-in-law thing where no one is ever good enough for their daughter, or what, LOL?!

I guess it must just be for comedy relief!!
