Maggie's still coughing but it was a much better night. I'm praying the medicine will help. She has been through this before. The cough usually calms down with the medicine but lately it just keeps coming back. Thank you so much for asking!
I did good at the gym! I was on the treadmill for an hour and then I used some of the other exercise machines. I really want to try one of the classes but I don't think I will be able to keep up!
I don't know if you knew that I left Yankee Candle. There were a couple of reasons why it wasn't working out. But I got a job with a Hallmark store, I start next week. I think it's going to be a much better fit for me!

The problem is, this is happening a lot! Whenever we have an event, he gets completely drunk. Unfortunately our managers aren't able to dismiss him, as we are already two co-workers short. It's not just the alcohol use, he just doesn't care anymore and acts very irresponsible. Besides him, all my co-workers are great and have a great working moral.

Sounds like an awful situation. Hope he can change his life around someday. Have a good weekend.

They are talking severe thunderstorms with possible tornado's right now.

Yikes! Tornados??? Scary! Hope it will soon pass without any harsh impact.

I think I will build my first fire of the season tonight in our outdoor fireplace. Maybe roast some hotdogs and relax. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hey Guys! Hope everyone had a good day and ready for the weekend. Tomorrow we have absolutely nothing planned and that suits me fine! We will just stay in and watch films and enjoy the festive Halloween atmosphere. Tomorrow I am making some chocolate brownies with the boys. Kids are on school holidays here for all of next week and Mr Festive is also off on holiday so looking forward to that.

I just hope this heavy rain we are having can lighten up a bit.

The shipping cost on some sites is just crazy!!! I went to order a shirt for my niece the other day and they wanted $7 dollars to ship it!!!! The shirt was only $10 to begin with. Needless to say I canceled it.

It is so frustrating!

Tonight is the homecoming football game at the kids' school. I don't usually care about ball (football, basketball, baseball...any of it), but since it's homecoming, we'll go. I'll have to wear a jacket tonight!

Jacob and I are going hunting in the morning, then I hope to work on the Camaro that afternoon. We'll see what happens.

Yikes! The warmest day we are going to get next week is 62 and it is one of the two days that have snow showers forecast. I want to say that is weird, but I don't think there is such a thing in regards to MI weather any more. cheesy I know it is early, but stay safe! Keep us posted, too.

Good Morning MMC Gang!

How are you? I hope everyone is healthy!

We had our annual trade fair yesterday and the legendary party afterwards. I had soooo much fun! It is always great to meet people you only know through the phone. Specially if they are very nice.

Unfortunately it got quite late and on top of it I also slept bad. Therefore I'm very tired now.

At least I didn't get ****-faced drunk and woke up in a hotelroom without know how I got there or which hotel I'm in. As one of my co-workers managed to do. I really don't know what to say about that. It's not like the guy is twenty or something. He should be old enough to know not to behave like that.

Glad to hear the fair went very well! Every event which goes smoothly always lifts up. Such a great feeling! ^^ And the accident for your co-worker made me laugh. I'm sorry for that. I didn't mean to be impolite or rude but it really made me laugh.

It is pouring rain here also. So far it is set to last into next week. I am hoping that it stops atleast on Halloween next thursday. Last year we had heavy rain and no one was able to go out, we were so disappointed. I really hope you are not coming down with a bug, get some vitamin C! Have a fun meeting with your ex landlord if you do.

Vitamin C is actually a good idea! I have my tea with lemon most of the time but I guess I need to take extra supplement of vitamin c. Thanks for reminding me that. :]

I forgot to mention I broke down and had a cup of coffee with pumpkin pie spice creamer this morning. I tried to give it up, I went about a week without it. I can't do it. I have no will power!

Don't say that! This is the major mistake people do if they fail - disrespect themselves. I sometimes do that to myself too and believe me, it never works. You are a human, we all are, and we all make mistakes. Don't allow one treat to ruin your whole commitment. Forgive yourself! And remember that tomorrow is a new day. <3

Friday! And, more importantly, two months until we wake up and gather under the Christmas Tree with our families. Yes, Christmas Day, the best day of the year is only two months away. Wow!

It made me smile. I really hope that I will be able to do exactly that because so far, the exam timetable is not announced and prices of the flights are frustrating! :/

Good evening everyone! I hope you all had a good week, and now are ready for the weekend! ^^ It was pouring badly this morning but I obviously had my wellies on and, luckily, it wasn't windy so I wasn't soaked by the time I walked to the campus. :] Also, I received an e-mail from Amsterdam confirming my place for the exchange. Yay! It has been an amazing finishing point of the week.

I've just finished watching amazing, life-changing documentary 'Hungry for Change'. Has anyone else seen it before? Oh boy, I'm totally overwhelmed right now. ;o
