I'm the same. It's always bittersweet at the end of the night.

Here's my son holding the candy bowl. Some kids were too afraid to come get any candy from him but he enjoyed scaring them!

I was relived to read your follow up post saying everyone was ok. I hope the impact of the tornado wasn't to harsh.

This is such an amazing photo HMG! The first thing I thought was this should be submitted somewhere and then I saw the Halloween photo contest posted this morning. You have my vote!

How very frustrating! I hope the manager will be apologetic and hope it can all be sorted out soon.
 
Good morning everyone! I hope that everyone is well after Halloween night. ^^ It's Friday today, and it seems that we are going to have a sunny and clear day here today. Yay! I'm getting ready to go to the campus for my lectures but somehow I don't expect where will be lots of us today. (I've heard there were massive parties arranged last night at student halls so...) Have a nice Friday everyone. Weekend is almost here! ^^

Good Morning, Formerly Frightened Friends of Friday.


Yes, Halloween is over and so is October.
Today, we begin the highly special month of November.

And need I tell you why it's so special -- in particular to those of us MMC'ers in the know? You know -- us Countdown Threaders.

Well, the numbers just might give us a clue:
Days to the Season: 12 (Near SINGLE DIGITS!)
Days to Thanksgiving: 27 (UNDER 4 weeks away, now!)
Days to Christmas Day: 54 (Drawing ever nearer by the day.)

And if that isn't quite enough to get you excited, just take a look at one more vital statistic:
Days until the Special Post Series begins: 7
ONE WEEK FROM TODAY!
(November really is special, isn't it?)


One more day of summer-like conditions before Fall begins to reassert itself.
It was windy last night and we might get some rain today.
Right now, we record a surprisingly warm 68 degrees here in NC.

Needless to say, based upon his plans, (which I must add here, I tried to talk him out of), will most likely, result in him having his head either stuck in a bucket, or a toilet bowl late tonight....

At least the group of them are getting a cab~

Wow, the first of November already!
Quick read through the posts this morning as I have a cake to bake, the guys are coming to put in the new water heater and I have to be at work by noon.
Since I am enjoying a cup of tea thought it would be a good moment to pop on here and see how everyone's night went.
Listening to the wind roaring around the house, the gusts are expected to reach up to 100km per hour in parts of Ontario today.
